  1. I'm in the mindset that he NEEDS to go. He's our biggest saleable asset. We can't afford to keep him. Plus, I would much rather him go than BEK or Fatawu. Stolarcyk is good enough to be our first choice.
  2. Naw, I can definately see the appeal. It CAN be a doorway back to a mid table PL but you can always end up getting sacked by a team in the Cypriot league like Neil Lennon too. I think a lot of people outside of Scotland also don't understand the pressure OF managers are under. It's different to how it is in England.
  3. Just watched the movie "Trap" and I'm fully convinced that at some point recently, M night Shyamalan has had a stroke and no-one has noticed. Comically bad. I actually think I love it for how bad it was.
  4. In what world is this true? They had a pretty good Europa run but apart from that... this is the worst top flight Rangers squads in my lifetime. They are so so poor. Even in the Championship, I'm not sure there are more than one or two players I would take from them. Even with the takeover in the near future, we've seen that be a disaster before at Rangers. And the place is absolutely teaming with John Rudkin-esq incompetence.
  5. Hi Mrs. Vardy.
  6. The biggest difference between Rob and Ryan and other rich owners is they have something those others don't and that's fame, and they have used it beautifully in their favour. I see it alot, people discrediting their success by pointing out that Wrexham outspend their rivals massively and that is true but they do that by out earning their rivals massively and all the sponsorship deals and limelight that earns that money is through the fame of the owners. They really do seem like a well run club. Comparing their owners to ours, it's easy to draw comparisons. Rich, don't know all that much about running a club and have other interests and duties elsewhere but the main difference is that their owners have entrusted the day to day running of the club to people that know how to do it and Top has handed over control to a gang of morons.
  7. We don't really have a choice for the next year, do we?
  8. Well.... that's a can of worms of a conversation, right there.
  9. Anyone we interview for the managers position, their vision and their philosophy should be cross referenced with anyone we interview for the DOF position, the boardmembers positions, the recruitment team positions etc and made sure that they all match up. The best possible person for each individual role isn't necessarily the best option. Having everyone on board and pulling in the same direction with the same ideas is FAR more valuable. We need to clear house and get in a collective group, throughout the football club but we all know that isn't going to happen.
  10. Very much want to keep him. Give him a full season at #10 with Mavididi and Fatawu at either side behind a new striker... get a bit of form into those 3 and they should be more than enough creativity for the Championship.
  11. Now we are the corrupt big team in the league!!
  12. This is actually quite funny. I've been a Leicester fan since around 2000 and for most of my life, when asked who I support, the answer generally invokes a weird awkwardness as the person who asked me expected something different and is frantically trying to concoct a follow up conversation. However, since 2016, when asked this question, I know that after I answer, I'm going to have to convince them that I'm not a glory-hunter. Like "mate, give me SOME credit! You're not just accusing me of being a glory hunter. You're accusing me of being sh!t at it too!"
  13. Being a non-local Leicester fan, I obviously disagree. I'm a Leicester fan because I have an emotional connection to the club and not because I fell out of my mum in the general vicinity of the stadium. As long as someone has a genuine love for the Leicester, I don't think the why matters.
  14. If Top isn't taking 2 relegations in 3 years seriously, regardless of how they happen then his time here is up and he needs to go. If you are expecting anyone in power to be held accountable, you are wasting your time. We will probably just get the people responsible to look into who is responsible with nothing coming from it, like we did last time.
  15. Again, that's IF we had competent people running the club. As it stands, I think they will sell Mads for less than he's worth and more than a few on that list will be loans. Probably including VK and Soumare.
  16. For next year I reckon... Stolarcyck stays and becomes # whilst Hermansen, Iversen and Ward all go. Mads being our biggest sellable asset and the other 2 are out of contract. Not much will change at RB. I can see all of Woyo, Ricardo and JJ staying. VK I see going, probably on loan. Not sure we will be able to shift Thomas but I would given half the chance and I'd have JJ as backup LB. I can see Nelson and Okoli being starting CB maybe souttar. I can't see Coady going but Faes and Vesty will. No chance Skipp goes. Ndidi and soumare will. Hopefully Hamza too. Not sure about Winks. Not sure anything will happen with wingers and #10. If we can keep Bilal and Fatawu, they will start alongside Mav. Since I can't see us getting rid of BDCR or Ayew, they will be backup alongside Monga and Alves. Maybe Mcateer goes. Vardy leaves and I reckon Daka too so we need to start over at striker. So that means, outgoing are.... Hermansen Iversen Ward VK Thomas(?) Vesty Faes Soumare Ndidi Hamza(?) Winks(?) Mcateer(?) Vardy Data That means,we will need... Gk. LB. CB. 2/3 CM. 2 ST. Unfortunately, with not much in the way of big money sellable assets, we won't be bringing much revenue in. Probably no more than £40m or so without selling Bilal and Fatawu. That means, not a lot to spend on incoming. The annoying thing is, if we were a well run club (we are not) we could prob fill those slots with free transfers and loans.
  17. ...as long as he doesn't slip.
  18. The VISIBLE uselessness is diluted with someone competent in the dugout but he is still running us into the ground behind the curtain and what's happening in the boardroom is IMO far more worrying than what's happening on the pitch.
  19. Frosty Jack's and Buckfast for me but the goal was the same.
  20. Drinking cider and trying to get girls to touch it.
  21. What difference does it make? Players are still crap. Owners don't care and the people running the club couldn't run a bath.... Sacking Ruud is like wallpapering a house that's on fire.
  22. An ex player scoring against us is the closest we've come to scoring in months and I'm not even remotely joking about that.
  23. That's quite enough of that.
  24. "Sorry sir. Vestys' dog ate my homework!"
  25. Monga on the bench.
