  1. Get out of here with your facts and figures..... we want irrational over exaggrations and snap judgments or nothing. Capiche?

I take your point but what I would say is..... Our POTY was signed from a relegated team. It's a non issue. Players get their head turned, it' part and parcel of it. Mahrez done the same and I'm betting, like me you would headbutt your maw if he promised to stay. 100k a week is steep but even if you factored that in with his pricetag and three year contract, it's probably STILL gonna work out better than any other CB that would improve us...

It baffles me that people have an issue with this. A 30 year old international CB and leader with over 200 PL appearances, 3 winners medals and 2 cup winners medals...... for 7m. He may have played a minimum part in that Utd team but he was there.
  4. Would be Silva for me. No denying that Vardy is the leader in that team but as soon as a midfielder gets on the ball, his back is turned and he's off running. A captain has to see everything that' going on and the way that Vardy plays means he can't. Kasper would maybe feel hard done by, being overlooked but if an incident occurs in the opposition penalty area that requires the captain to have a word in the refs ear, he has to run the length of the pitch. That could look aggressve. Silva is very vocal on the pitch. He's an organiser and not afraid to get in a referees face but he doesn't seem hot headed either.
  5. Assuming ofcourse he plays on the right for us. He plays on the left for Celtic. As for tracking back. Anytime I've saw him for Celtic, he plays on the left with Keiran Tierney who is a very attacking fullback and they always seem to have it covered between them.
  6. So..... You're not willing to take a player who has been relegated this year b7t are willing to take a player who was relegated last year and then went on to fail at getting promoted AND you say that you want winners??!! No offence dude but I'm struggling to follow your logic.

I honestly don' see why people have an issue with this. At the end of the day, it' £7m for a highly experienced PL winning CB. How they divvy yo that £7m between them is up to them. Couldn't care less about it. At the end of the day, we were willing to pay a lot more than £7m not that long ago.

Pogba's agent reportedly earned £41m from his UTD move. That' 41 Jamie Vardy's!

Agents are taking the piss if that' the case but isn' he supposed to have a £3m release? Still a good deal.
  10. Depends on who you ask! Looks like it might be at the stage were we're talking to the player but it' all guess work and going off a Portuguese version of the sun.
  11. As far as JUST the starting 11, I would say we are more on need of TWO wingers rather than one and a no.10. Big Ian Nacho looks like he's mad that role his own, and with Mahrez Leaving, I feel a replacement and an upgrade on gray/albrighton/Diabate is more urgent.
  12. I'e always thought that players have two values. They have their transfer value and they have their value to their team. Maguire for example would be worth more to is than what he would to UTD as he could make that differance between mid table and Europe. He would be worth even more to wolves, say as he could mean the differance between finishing next year safe from relegation and going down. A players true value is somewhere inbetween what that player is worth to the two teams.
  13. Would keep Okazaki, all day long. He' never gonna be a starter but in the correct situation, he's worth his wage. Holding on to a lead? Being over run in midfield? He adds a body to the midfield and attack, the way he plays. Him and Inheacho would be my 10s with Vardy and someone else coming in as my no.9s.
  14. Hamer, Benny, Morgan, Fuchs, Amartey, James, King, kaputska, mendy, ulloa and musa for Mawson. .....That 11 could see them bounce back up. Lol.
  15. You could be right but I hope you're wrong. If that where the case. We would prob finish around 9th, just like this season.
  16. Would be delighted if we went into the new season looking something like.... GK: Kasper Foster (10m?) RB: Pereira (25m?) Simpson LB: Chilwell Tierney (25m?) CB: Maguire Evans (3m?) Dragovic (10m?) Mawson/Dunk (20m?) CM: Iborra Silva Choudhury Ndidi Fellaini (free) WINGERS: Gray Diabate Albrighton Shaqiri (15m?) Roberts (part xchange) NO10: Okazaki Ihneacho NO9: Vardy Sturridge (free) Spent £108m Get what we can for...... Hamer (free) Huth (free) Fuchs (free) Morgan (£3m?) Amartey (£5m?) Mendy (£5m?) King (£4m?) Kaputska (£5m) James (£2m) Musa (£7m) Ulloa (£3m) Slimani (£13m) Mahrez (£60m and Roberts) Brought in. £107m Net spend..... £1m I've tried to keep the signings somewhat realistic in terms of personal and price (Sturridge is a stretch,I realise) And I've tried to be realistic in the price we could get. I realise this is NOT going to happen but this would be my perfect window....
  17. If it came to him or Shaqiri, it would be the latter every day of the week. ....Would be happy with both though.
  18. Sounds good. They would definately, probably keep us up!
  19. I would reckon that they would be odds on to sign him. He' a very good championship player.
  20. True but they have to bid. Links mean nothing.
  21. What makes you so Sure?
  22. Would absolutely love to see us sign this boy. Massive future infront of him. Ofcourse its easy to say that he plays for Celtic and it' easier to stand out against poor opposition but he' been outstanding at any level he plays. SPFL, champions league, Europa League and international. This is the lad that's keeping Andy Robertson, current first choice Liverpool LB out of his favoured position on the Scotland team. Worth a punt.
  23. In Scottish so see a good bit of him and he looks like a cracking wee player but if you put dimmy Gray in that Celtic team, it's hard to see him look any worse. So quite hard to tell. Ability wise it's worth a gamble but what worries me is that he always seems to be Injured. On a side note. If we did get him, id DEFINATELY look to get Kieran Tierney to play at LB behind him. They are a different class when playing beside each other.
  24. Awesome. Has that real Leicester feel about it. Would quite like a white away and a yellow 3rd kit.
  25. Apparently leaked. Hope it's real!
