We were linked last transer window so we seem to have taken a good look at him which is normally how we operate when it comes to transfers.

He's said he wants to stay in England so, if (and I suspect, WHEN) the Liverpool interest turn out to be nonsense, I suspect he's our if we want him..... I don' see any of the other top 6 sides being after him so unless Everton want him, we're as good as it gets for him....in terms of squad quality, wages and potential league position, you have to think that we are the most attractive option.

This is the lad I want. Him and Roberts for the right wing. Madison and Nacho for the 10 spot, leaving Gray, Diabate and Albrighton to fight it out for the Left wing.

Kasper Chillwell... Maguire... Evans... Pereira Ndidi...........Silva That' a really good base to start with. It' the three that play in ront of them (being vardy) that are the big question mark just now but I always agree with building from the back and we've addressed the weakest points RB and CB.

If we could pull that off, it would be immense. Those 6 going for 3 positions with Nacho and vardy for the no.9 role.....

I don' think it' all about ability either though. Vardy (or possibly Nacho) are key. Maddison looks like the sort of player who Vardy would thrive from. Having saw a ot of Roberts, he is always going to create more than he scores..... this could result in us playing better as a team than we do with Mahrez and Okazaki. Mahrez is great and he works well with Vardy but he holds on to the ball too much sometimes, Roberts seems to look to create faster and more often by bringing other players in (similarly, why I prefer Diabate over Gray) and Okazaki looks to drop too deep to help the CM a bit too often where Maddison may over better support to the number 9. Again though, it's all ifs and buts......

Potentially, it's shrewd. Both players have the potential to be cracking players BUT potential don't win games. It' a risk.

People SAY they want to develop our own talent then absolutely crucify them when they play poorly just like they do with Chilwell.... They do e it with Moore too. Other players like Lawrence didn' get a look in when he was here, just like Barnes and Thomas aren' getting much of a whack at it now. People SAY they want to develop our own players yet expect them to be fully developed, turning in solid performances every week by the time they get in the first team.

Completely agree. Look at Dembele when he left Fulham. Spurs had a contract on the table yet his agent convinced him that even though Celtic were offering less, it would be a better move for him in the long run.
