Foxes Trust - Special General Meeting request
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
Some of our members only want to give their time to write match reports. In the latest members e-newsletter we asked if any members wanted to join the match reporting team, particularly with the membership growth and given the amount of discussions about each game on this forum are surprised no one new has offered to give it a go -
Safe standing - time to act
Foxes_Trust replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
The Foxes Trust has always had agreements with other supporters groups about certain areas that they focus on, as an example not arranging away coaches (which some Trusts do) as the OSC do. In terms of safe standing, while it was the Trust who arranged the first demo of the rail seating at The Counting House (this was before UFS was formed) and the club declined to attend, it is clear that UFS had led this campaign for many years and we feel they should gain the main credit when it is introduced, along with our support now we have a clear mandate to do so -
Safe standing - time to act
Foxes_Trust replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
At the AGM referred to above there was a very clear vote in favour of safe standing, so our stance changed. More recently we published our survey results (members and wider fan base) both had a very clear majority in favour and the survey results have been shared with the club. This week.. .. we were represented at the 90 Minutes session on Tuesday night which was publicised as an open session and one of the main topics we raised was safe standing .. UFS posted their latest research which we shared on our social media accounts yesterday We still believe UFS should lead the Safe Standing campaign, but we will actively support them -

LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
We certainly weren't blinded by Steve Coppers appearance and while it is genuinely true he wants to engage directly more with fans (as a Trust Board member discussed it directly with him at the open Q & A session the club subsequently ran), we were not aware of his appearance at the FCC until we arrived and our initial reaction was that it would limit the amount of time available to discuss other items given we already knew that a significant amount of time of that evening would be taken up discussing the Fan Engagement Framework, so agree with your point above -

It has subsequently been published elsewhere that the Premier League want all clubs to comply to a minimum take up of 70% of match attendances being via digital tickets (that's match & season tickets combined) -

General Sale - the club stated the potential fixtures at the meeting and its in the document released "The Club has provisionally identified the following games: AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Brentford, Southampton." The first of those games is AFC Bournemouth and that goes on general sale on 16 September (unless sold out prior) -

LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
As we mentioned in the article, this was the last Fans Consultative Committee in its current format. The Fan Engagement Framework document which was enclosed in the article gives an overview of the new structure, each Fans Group will be represented across the 3 FCC Working Groups with the addition of the LCFC Women's Supporters Club. as well as Foxes Trust, Union FS, Official Supporters Club, Foxes Pride & DSA), outside of that representation, those involved will be refreshed. With a member of the Fans Advisory Board chairing each of the FCC Working Group sessions. -
LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes

We did chase the club for them to be issued, as has been the case in the past and have requested more timely release of information following any meetings as part of the new Fan Engagement Framework -
LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
The minutes are written by the club, just give an overview, so do not reflect many of the reactions from FCC members. As an example the "Sticking to" the limit of 5 games maximum for transfer of season tickets to another registered person, one FCC member gave the example of family sharing which had always taken place for most of their supporting life. We repeated the view that Digital Ticket uptake will not significantly improve until the number of permitted shared games is significantly improved to around half the games. Some clubs permit unlimited ticket sharing, however this is at clubs where digital tickets are mandatory. The number of matches that could be shared was increased from 4 to 5 following the initial meeting with Fan Groups about the £25 charge and we continued to push for the sharing number to be increased at the second Fan Groups meeting with the club. To confirm, when sharing, the other person has to be registered on the LCFC database, but does not need to be an LCFC member -

Foxes Trust Reform - show your support!
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
The members we have met previously in regards to the above, also made the following requests on August 19th 3) The chance to re-consider our involvement with the Trust’s working groups We responded positively with ... Yes, having completed the Skills Assessment, we are happy for the two of you to take up the offer of Board Subgroup roles as previously made. With the main initial survey now completed and results about to be released, and the Fan Engagement Framework/Fans Advisory Board plans now launched, our priority would be to add one of you to the Comms Subgroup where there is plenty to do and is by far the most active subgroup week by week. If you do agree to join the Board Subgroups, we would also encourage you to attend the FSA training sessions ahead of the elections So far this re-confirmed offer has not been taken up, which still baffles the Trust board and all the new Board Subgroup members who took up the offer originally in May, all of whom have contributed positively to the Trust since that time. with many of them undergoing the FSA Training. 4) How the Trust can operate in a more agile manner We have asked initially for some more details via e-mail and we can then determine the most appropriate people from the main board/sub-groups to then meet and discuss further, but so far there has been a refusal to provide any written details, which we feel is a perfectly reasonable request, rather than involving board members who aren't involved in the relevant processes. -
We hope that supporters can now look forward to a season where our final position for the 2024/25 season will be determined by sporting capability rather than the lottery of a possible points deduction. The Foxes Trust will continue to push for tickets to go on General Sale this season, with potential Premier League games being identified but recognises there will be few games that match tickets don’t sell out to LCFC Members. Therefore, this Tuesday’s Carabao Cup Game versus Tranmere offers the chance for any City fan who usually can’t access match tickets to go to a game. Last season saw a number of fans attend their first ever LCFC game with the FA Cup tie against Birmingham, and we hope that some will take the opportunity this week to have that experience, particularly as the prices are also set a sensible level

Foxes Trust End of Season Survey - Please Take Part
Foxes_Trust replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
We have usually carried out end of season surveys for Trust members only (hence the title) however the title is of least importance. We have been lobbied by new members to widen surveys to all fans, so we have opened this survey to all LCFC fans, but are running 2 versions so we can compare the results of the members survey with the wider fan base Any fan who posts on message boards has opinions, so give us yours by completing the survey on the link above -
We have raised this issue at meetings with the club and it was raised again at the FCC meeting last week. We made the point a ticket shared between family members has always taken place and digital ticket uptake will only improve when ST’s are permitted to share their ticket with a nominated person (so still means the club knows who has attended, which is one of the main reasons the PL are pushing the digital ticket agenda) for 50% of games.
