You are, of course, completely entitled to stand by your original view point but going to expand here… Currently, the FAB meetings minutes that the club are releasing are taking weeks. They are minutes that it is pre-agreed will be released and part of a regular cadence in the Fan Engagement Framework. What I believe you want is better transparency and visibility on what has been discussed. That’s completely fair, valid and something the Trust wants to do better on. But, is asking the club to agree to a meeting where everything they say is recorded and released for public consumption conducive to them being open? Or is it more likely to make them cautious and guarded? If they did agree to a minuted meeting, how long do you think it would take to reach a point of agreed minutes that could be released publicly when other minutes at the moment are taking weeks? How much time would the Trust lose going back and forth on the minutes and waiting? We know people want to know what’s going on and how the club react. But they also need to be realistic about what’s going to be most conducive to getting that. Recording the clubs every word might not be productive - as frustrating as that might be. That has nothing to do with tea and biscuits - for what it’s worth, since I joined the board a few months ago I’ve seen zero evidence of any freebies or perks with the club - it’s just about handling things in a way that gets closer to what people want rather than further away from it. -

We are currently in the process of agreeing at board level how communications are handled moving forwards - the aim is to be able to operate with a bit more speed, have a consistent tone to our communication and create a bit more autonomy for the group that is taking on responsibility for the comms moving forward - so, without ducking your question about a guarantee, I can't make any promises because I'm just one person sat behind the keyboard running the Trust account! What I would say though, is that the people involved with the comms now want to create more transparency and have the Trust operate with a stronger voice/tone. It's still early days but you will have seen signs of that in our most recent couple of communications (fully appreciate there were very valid accusations of this not being the case in prior comms - that's accepted and why there's an effort to change). On the survey, we're committing to sharing the results in full, without fear or favour, and we know people will want to hear how the club respond (if they do). But we'll also have to weigh up that minuting meetings and publishing might not be the most productive way of getting the the club to engage in the first place. It's a delicate balance. Not always one the Trust has got right in the past. But remains delicate all the same. To try and put it simply: we know this survey is a big opportunity to show what the Trust does and it would be counter-productive to not have thousands of fans who are participating fully informed on what we do with it. -

Some of the points in your post are not strictly true. The Trust has a seat on the Fan Advisory Board. That individual, like all of the FAB reps, has signed an NDA as part of the terms of being on the FAB. This was a condition for all of them to take their place. The Fan Advisory Board is only part of the engagement between the Trust and the club, however (and is wider than just that relationship given there are other fan reps involved). It should really only be a supplement to the engagement that the club has with fan groups. So any other discussions that take place outside of the FAB are not bound by that NDA. We agree that we have to find a better way of communicating what the Trust is doing. This survey is one of the first small steps in the right direction towards that. People don't have to complete it, but it makes it harder for us to get to the point that the Trust is doing what fans want it to if they don't. -

To be completely clear, in case anyone else was in doubt, the survey is completely anonymous. We thought people might want to see the results after taking the time to complete so added an optional box in for those who would like to do so. We've committed to publishing the results in-full so will send them direct to anyone that has given us their details to be able to do that. It was interesting speaking to people about the survey before the Ipswich game that we got a few questions around whether the club would know if they'd completed the survey etc. There was, for some, a real need to reassure that the Club would have no way of knowing that they'd completed it. Really not the way it should be, but we can absolutely guarantee that it will not be the case and that shouldn't prevent anyone from being able to participate. -

We're about to pass 1,500 responses which is good going for just a couple of days in. You'll hopefully hear and see more from us promoting the survey across social media and traditional media outlets in the coming days, as well as in Bournemouth for those who are going to the final fixture there. Our plan is to keep the survey open for a good while yet so please keep sharing and asking LCFC fans you know to complete as well. Thank you! -

Thank you. It's early days - and we've still got an incredible amount of work to do - but we're trying. -

This is why we also hit the pubs and bars. We went round tables speaking with people, engaging with them and asking them to contribute. We know not everyone is going to just come to us with this - and we don't want it to be an echo chamber of just people from one section of the fan base - so we put a bit of a shift in to try and get out to people proactively. -

Thanks. We're trying to get it out there in a number of ways. It's amazing how you can feel like you're reaching a good number online and social media but not even scratch the surface of the LCFC support. So we really need people to tell people, who tell people! If everyone who completes passes it on to just one other fan then the numbers will grow. We're also making an effort to hit the local media as well to get the word out there. -

We had a team of Trust volunteers out today handing out leaflets promoting the survey on the main routes to the stadium and in the bars and pubs nearby. Overall, the people we engaged with today were supportive and we appreciate those who stopped to share their thoughts on things at the club right now and everyone that said they'd compete the survey - the numbers are steadily rising which is exactly what we need. We realise that there's discontent and that fans want the Trust to do more to represent them so we're trying to as much as we can, as a start, to make this survey a decent sample size so the results hold weight. If you haven't yet completed the survey, please do. If you have, thank you, and please share with friends/family who are LCFC fans so that they can do so as well.- 151 replies

I don't think we'd even need an automatic answer on that one to get 100% 'Strongly Agree'! Let's get this survey done and then we can get onto the petition... -

Not all of the questions will be perfect - none of us are survey designers by profession! But the strongly agree to strongly disagree scale, as well as the option to not answer, hopefully provides an opportunity to counteract anything you think is leading. -

If that's how supporters feel, then that's how the supporters feel. It doesn't mean those opinions shouldn't be collected. This survey is one of the best channels open to Leicester City supporters to make their feelings known and the Trust has official channels to get the results in front of the club (including the FAB and the existing line of communications that exist between the Trust and the Club). We will be publishing the results publicly and in-full. Have you completed the survey? It takes less than 10 minutes and if you want the club to listen, or you want change, you should provide your input to the survey. -

There's one way to ensure nothing is achieved: do nothing. The survey is wide-ranging - covering the leadership of the club, ticketing, matchday experience, the women's game and even the Foxes Trust itself. So there is plenty of opportunity for a whole range and spectrum of views and opinions. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete and the best way to make your voice heard right now is to play your part in a survey that will give us data to raise key supporter issues with the Club.- 151 replies

To add to this, we will be promoting this survey via leaflets pre-match tomorrow on the approach ways to the stadium and in the bars and pubs near to the stadium (where permitted). Our newer board members have done a lot of the work on this survey, with excellent support from a few members who have joined the Trust within the last year or so. If you see them tomorrow, feel free to stop and chat about how the Trust is changing and what the Trust plans to do with the results once this survey is closed.- 151 replies

As the 2024/25 season comes to a conclusion, the Foxes Trust is launching its End of Season Survey. This year, we’re aiming for our highest-ever number of responses to make this our most impactful survey yet. Simply put: the more Leicester City fans that take part, the more the findings of our survey will carry weight. We are committing to publishing the results in-full, without fear or favour. The insights gathered by the survey will allow us to represent supporters on key issues that matter most and hold our football club to account where necessary. This your opportunity to make yourself heard and influence change. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete, so please do so now and share the link below with fellow supporters so that they can also contribute. Foxes Trust End of Season Survey

All properties owned by King Power are held under one KP group company, this is practice used by a number of companies. The club won’t proceed with stadium expansion while we are in the Championship The rest of the development would have boosted income and therefore helped any future financial assessments as turnover would be boosted, while money spent on the development would be discounted from the PSR calculations (or alternative future financial assessments)

The FAB may also have plans to raise questions and concerns - that will be up to them to raise if they do (FAB is wider than just the Trust representative). The Trust believes that the Fan Engagement Framework (and FAB as part of it) should be there to bolster and widen the communication with supporters rather than to replace direct dialogue with fan groups (like the Trust and UFS). So it's important that fan groups still have an opportunity to engage directly with the club.

We have to try though, right? There's only one way to guarantee nothing changes: not trying to fight for any change.

The two groups are different in nature, of course. We're sure @Union FS will also have their own approach on how they handle this situation and what they want to say - different approaches are a positive thing and it shouldn't be only one group expressing concerns to the club. That said, we are meeting with UFS to discuss how we can collaborate and the newer board members at the Trust are very familiar with the more prominent members of UFS. That provides a good foundation for the two groups working together where it makes sense to do so.

Yes, we now have a working group which includes individuals with corporate comms experience and includes three individuals who were not involved with the Trust a year or so ago. We're also trying to find others to come and help out with different bits here and there. Of course, people still have their perceptions of the Trust that have been built up over many years - and we know we've not always hit the mark in the past - but we're changing the way we operate and hopefully you'll observe a different approach in the coming months.

Not our best bit of Comms back then, granted. Which is why we now have different people running that part now and hope to do better this time around!

Full statement (and details on our latest work) can be read on the Trust's website here Nothing changes, if nothing changes. The Foxes Trust is bitterly disappointed to see the club be relegated again for the second time in three years, jeopardising our chances of being a sustainably successful Premier League club. As part of our stated aims to hold Leicester City Football Club and its owners to account for the highest standards of business management, and operational and commercial decisions that directly affect Foxes Trust members and the wider supporter base, we contacted the club following relegation in the 2022/23 season. We submitted a list of questions that we were seeking assurances on about how the club was being run and what lessons had been learned from the season. Despite initially offering to meet to discuss our concerns, this meeting was delayed and delayed and our questions went unanswered. We have heard numerous examples in recent months of Leicester City supporters feeling a disconnect with the club and the lack of communication from senior directors is often referenced as a missed opportunity. The Fan Engagement Framework – mandated by the Premier League and implemented last summer – was intended to bolster and widen communication with supporters but is now, in many instances, being used as a reason for the club not to engage directly with supporter groups. We feel this needs to change. Many of the issues in club-supporter relations right now can be linked back to a failure to engage with, listen to and communicate with, fans. When there is such disconnect and discontent amongst the supporter base, we urge the club to address this: have senior directors responsible for both the on-pitch, and off-pitch, operations share direct with the fan base what the strategy and vision for the club now is and meet directly with all supporter groups to address their questions and hear their concerns. The Trust will again be submitting questions to the club in the wake of our relegation. We encourage all Trust members, and the wider fan base, to share with us via email ([email protected]) questions or concerns that they would like sharing with the club. This time, we will be expecting answers.

We wouldn't be surprised, it appears the club would be, but it has always been the case within families (from a time way before the Premier League was even a concept), we were pushing for more transfers last summer (as fan groups pointed out then, more fans would have chosen to go digital if the limit to a max of 5 transfers had been increased). The family aspect of supporting has also been raised in regards to away games, at the 90 minutes session, the suggestion that families could pool points to enable younger family members to go (because due to age it would be impossible to acquire the required no of points required) was raised by fans present.
