Not the greatest picture, it's on my leg. It isn't as skinny as it looks in that photo!

In short, no. Yeah, there's financial trouble and they aren't selling many cars in certain markets. Seems like America want plug in hybrids for some reason. Probably the worst place for them in my opinion, but what do I know, and if those yanks get something in their head... The technologies they have and the status in Japan, make me think the Japanese government won't allow them to fold. Plus other factories are worth so much money to so many economies around the world, including ours. The Qashqai and Juke are designed in Cranfield and built in Sunderland. They certainly need investment and it'll come from somewhere. Honda were seriously interested, but it wasn't quite the right fit. Loads of rumours floating about, none of which are relayed to us, as we're just a franchised retailer. I'd be utterly amazed if they went under. It definitely isn't impacting sales for us.

Beautiful morning for golf. Me and a mate from work went out early doors for a round. Our thing this year is seeing how low we can go in a scramble. A couple of weeks ago, it was a +4 round of 75. Managed a 7 shot swing today and shot a 68. Dovetailed amazingly and holed a few monster puts. Great fun in that format and if you hit a shit shot, your partner can bail you out. I can't hit an iron to save my life at the minute (apart from 2 belters on par 3's). Been doing really well with the driver and putter though. It'll click soon. I hope

In all honesty, you won't get what WBAC quote you online. They'd end up offering between 8500 and 9k. And you definately wouldn't get 1 or 2k more than they're offering if part-exing, especially if you're looking for something worth less than yours. If a garage if planning on retailing it, they'll plan on selling it for at least 2k more than they've paid for it. This covers the cost of putting it through workshop, smart repairs, putting a warranty on it and making a profit. So if you think you'd get up to 12k for it, that means it'll be priced up at a garage for more than you paid for it 4 years ago. If it's treated you well, keep it and make sure its serviced, as others have said. You could easily make it to 150k miles plus. That would be real value for money

We all know Trump is an utter cvnt, but this is incredibly alarming. He's had a shouting match with a guy who's country had been invaded by what is usually America's biggest enemy. Seriously, what the actual fvck.

He's had his moments this year that prove he's still good enough. There are 2 major problems though... He's had absolutely no service and the club haven't bought a replacement. The issues certainly aren't his fault.

In a complete U-turn on previous "Teams that can't catch us" threads, let's start one of these. They'll really start racking up in the next couple of weeks and it won't be long before there are 17 on the list. There are obviously connotations where teams play each other, meaning we probably can't catch them already, but I can't be arsed to look at all the fixtures and work it out. 1 - Liverpool 2 - Arsenal

It's not just Tesla, it's every EV that isn't worth a lot. Prices have dropped off a cliff. If you bought one on a finance deal, brand new, you're screwed. You're stuck in that car until your PCP finishes and you're handing it back to the finance company, then starting again. The banks are then going to be screwed too, because they'll have thousands upon thousands of 3/4 year old cars on their hands, worth absolutely fvck all. Great for a second hand buyer though.

Currently in the tattoo studio having a unique piece on my calf. Will update later, you're going to want to see this

Unfortunately, until nobody actually turns up or buys a ticket, it means absolutely fvck all. But I don't blame you.

Is it too late to bring back Steve Cooper?

Utterly amazed that someone hasn't been on the below thread stating "some cvnt in a Leaf has cut me up" I'm disappointed in you all https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/97568-what-on-the-roads-has-annoyed-you-today/page/213/#comment-7679800

Fantastic @Parafox Thank you for sharing. Really pleased for you and hope your relationship grows. Genuinely engrossed and moved reading that. And let's hope those negatives at the end of your post can change for the better over time, I know you and Mrs P haven't had it easy.

Pretty much as @FoxesDeb said...please tell us when you're ready to. I hope it went well

The Bose sound system comes as standard in the Tekna. Which is annoying, because you get slightly less boot space! But yeah, mine has that. I wasn't bothered about the sound system, I just didn't want the foot parking brake in the lower specs. Although Mercedes and Lexus both thought that was a good idea!

I'm a week in to my EV ownership and you know what, I love it. It's a Leaf, it doesn't look fantastic, but it's got every feature you could want. And it was incredibly good value for money. I charge at work and sometimes top up at home. Maximum I have to put in is 8kwh, so costs me about £1.20 overnight. If you've doubted getting an EV, don't. Just buy a second hand one where the depreciation has already hit. The one I've got retailed at 32k new, I paid a third of that.

Just a little reminder to EV owners... SORN your car with the DVLA this month or next month, then tax it again the next day. VED on all EV's, whatever age, will be charged from 1st April at a rate of about £165 per year. If you tax it for a year before 1st April, you'll get the entire year for free. If your tax is due in April or May, you'll have to pay the whole fee.
