  1. Largely irrelevant then?
  2. Who did that considering we've won 12 out of 13 and had the best ever start?
  3. Last night it was near faultless, which isn't something anyobes ever been able to say about KDH.
  4. Winks has to be rested, if he gets booked then he misses the Leeds game. Hermansen Coady Faes Vestergaard Justin Yunus Hamza KDH Fatawu Vardy Mavididi
  5. Ainsworth will be sacked before this I reckon
  6. Clearly opted not to try and control possession tonight, or we couldn't do, so are coached to switch and use Casadei's height and go for route one. At times it worked but we were the worst I've seen us on the ball this season. Casadei had an impressive game, KDH's 1st touch was faultless tonight and Winks got through so much work. Vestergaard's reading of the game was crucial as well. Mental resilience is relentless and let's regroup and go again Saturday. BLUE ARMY
  7. Really good tonight, we missed Ndidi's pressing but Casadei gave us ability to turn and use the ball efficiently as well as attacking the box. Let's hope he can keep it up.
  8. I must be watching a different game, Casadei has been pretty decent. Overall been a bit of a struggle though with moments of being very dangerous. Let's hope we can get more control of the game in the 2nd half.
  9. This ref is honking
  10. For some reason I've become extremely nervous and unconfident!!
  11. Ben Nelson the only other player close to the 1st team, I'd have preferred him to get it but hey ho.
  12. Ndidi's due an injury, doesn't surprise me. Let's hope it's only minor or a standard illness.
  13. It should be mate
  14. Yes
  15. It's true though to an extent, the most powerful pre the Premier League were those with either wealthy owners who ploughed money in or powerhouse clubs who generated lots of revenue. I am fascinated by clubs that build success on a budget, but it's so difficult and so rare to do. Clubs that have a model to buy low and sell high, however they do it (Brentford and Brighton come in to it) is the only way clubs of their size, ours and probably even yours can try and compete but as you say, a lot of this still comes down to the owners investing what they can within the sham of the rules that are in place.
  16. He was being played as an 8 a fair bit on the U21s the year up to his horrendous injury. His physique appears to have changed quite dramatically in the last year if you watch that video of him and Braybrooke being interviewed a few months back. He looks like he's much stronger. I think he'd be one who'll play out wide or centrally like Yunus is doing.
  17. I have been told Braybrooke is a few weeks behind but close. There was a friendly a few of them played last week but Braybrooke didn't feature.
  18. @Ric Flair
  19. Totally agree on being out the Prem is a breath of fresh air but if we didn't go up from the start we have made thrn I'd struggle to be unaffected by it. It's a dilemma as I absolutely detest VAR.
  20. Never seen him play in a back four, but as a right wing back at this level he is strong. I'd be pretty surprised if you don't finish top two. Ipswich would need to keep the pace or us plummet for it not to happen IMO.
  21. Emery's 1st year at Villa, which has everyone raving is very similar points per game to the 1st year of Brendan at Leicester. However, it's not that season that they are trying to compare them too, pathetic.
  22. I think they are a team that if they went 2 goals up against us would probably have enough to see it through. At some point we might have that happen to us but we've got just keep creating our chances and it heaps so much pressure on the opposition to take theirs.
  23. Similar in style to Nugent IMO
