Opoku still injured?

Although I'm sure he'll disagree, I hope Ghana don't pick him for AFCON.

The chances we are affording teams is on the whole impressive. On the balance of what teams get compared to the level of opportunities we have is night and day. In order for teams to consistently cause us problems, we will need to be extremely wasteful and teams take the few chances they get or score long range goals, it heaps huge pressure on the opposition and is of no surprise they lose discipline and intensity in the final 20-30 minutes against us.
-
He did indeed, but overall was his worst performance of the season for us. Maresca has been clever moving him in to this role, it's easing the burden on his fragile body. I'd have subbed him though, but in the end it didn't cost us.
-
Yeah, herculean. Generational keeper for us and Hermansen appears to be hugely gifted, we may have done it again.
-
We already have numerous times.

His save vs Haji Wright on his debut was fcukin astonishing.

Ricardo Pereira had a howler today, should have been dragged. Probably the only real negative, was poor.

They are a dangerous team, that once again if they take their chances and we are very wasteful then we could drop points. The issue for the opposition is exactly that though, they're under immense pressure to be so efficient and exert their energies hoping we're off it. Its no coincidence in the final 30 minutes we are ruthless, teams just struggle to maintain what's needed to cause us sustained problems. We'll drop points again though and they have plenty of classy young players so a challenge for us. We've some tough games from the return of this international break up until the next, it'll be interesting.

😂😂 Never said you weren't allowed to, I just found it amusing that the majority of your posts in the last year or so involve Leeds. I was curious as to why.
-
I thought he was our best outfield player today, along with Winks and KDH. His best game for a while and deserved a goal. He's so dangerous when teams dare have a bit of a go against us.
-
Excellent when he came on,I thought the team struggled for a period after we went 2-1 up but he was the exception and kept us looking dangerous.
-
Interesting to see what effect the focus on Mavididi and Fatawu in training the last 2 weeks has. They can help us keep the foot down.
-
It was not plain sailing from a fans perspective. We are conditioned to remain cautious and worried even when the outcome seemed and was so clear and obvious. Spurs for a good while kept the foot down and we were nigh on faultless. It goes against what's expected of underdogs, but perhaps because it was Spurs we didn't feel the pressure 😂😂😂

The brutal issue in the PL is that seldom do a team sort themselves out having remained in the PL. West Ham have done but more often than not its a horrid scrap year in, year out. Who knows whether we will go back up and compete in the top half again, I do think what we have achieved in the last decade is astonishing and we need to still implement a lot of long term strategies to get anywhere near even the likes of Brighton and Brentford again.

I see Tom Cannon, out on the grass, out on the grass. Groove Armada

Ndidi and Iheanacho only played once over the international break and Kel was for about half an hour. Souttar played twice, as did Casadei and Akgün but again he was a sub in one of those games. Even Faes may benefit from their 2nd game getting abandoned at half time for that horrendous terrorist attack. That said Maresca rotated heavily for the Norwich game after the 1st game back vs Southampton so changes will happen regardless. I've a feeling Coady will start. Hermansen Ricardo Coady Vestergaard Justin Ndidi Winks KDH Fatawu Vardy Mavididi

Can't remember what happened, he'd had a bad injury last season too on his ankle. -

Can't be long before Alves, Popov and Briggs make an appearance for the U21s. Braybrooke too. Even a behind the scenes game or something. -

Kept it very clean, but there's a pair of signed pants left at reception for Owynn to pass on to Harry Winks. -
