  1. It's a noose around our neck. Appalling injury problems since we've been there, a breeding ground for building the exact opposite mentality for what it was meant to serve. The cost of running it is prohibitive. Sell it and hopefully enables Top to lower the price it would take to sell up completely.
  2. That training ground needs flogging to Forest. It's not worth the hassle.
  3. Power play might be in the offing.
  4. Haven't some reputable outlets gone on record to say we have been meeting potential investors in the last year or two? The issue is just how much Top and his family think they are owed for a large cut of the ownership or full sale. It's a very unsettling period this is but of no surprise. So many mistakes now unravelling.
  5. Dyche coming in would signify the strength to which Rudkin still has and yet if our fans get our own way and Rudkin is forced out (hopefully when Top has to sell us in the very near future) then it will prove what an unnecessary appointment that will likely require a further managerial change within a year. There's so many reasons to be fearful of Dyche coming in but the alliance with Rudkin is more pungent than his football he implements.
  6. This is extremely harsh, especially on Alves. His goal contributions in the minutes played for Cardiff helped them secure the majority of the points they gained in the final few months. He'd been considered an excellent signing up until the final few games where it all fell apart for Cardiff. Unfortunately his ACL scuppered him making an impact here. It was disappointing he kept getting niggling injuries when Enzo had earmarked him to come in to the squad. There's no denying his talent and fingers crossed we finally get to see it next season.
  7. Hahahahaaa thanks mate. TEAMtalk are certainly a dubious enough outfit to have trusted my recommendation and ran with it 😂😂😂😂
  8. By this metric, you'd have gone for Dyche over Enzo two summers ago and Stan Ternent over Nigel Pearson 17 years ago. We are an absolute mess, that an immediate promotion only pauses the problems if nothing else changes. I'm not interested in going up for the sake of it. We've not spent the last decade building the foundations of what we are now witnessing from our academy, which incidentally comes at a time where we aren't in a place of power and makes the nurture of these talents even more crucial. If we are to get anywhere near to what we've achieved in the previous decade then we need to cultivate these young players and turn them in to 8 figure worth players to build the financial flexibility that we don't have anymore due to those at the very top that as it stands still remains. It will require more than just the right manager but at the very least that's more prosperous to the club than continuing the disjointed strategy of this club, which Sean Dyche would sum us up if appointed. I'm not completely sold on Röhl but he did an extremely good job rescuing Sheffield Wednesday in 2023/24 and last season was a carry on of them punching above their weight. They're relegation fodder and he had them mid table. It's a very good 1st managerial role for him. It's unreasonable to expect in the 1.5 seasons there that he could have challenged for promotion for example.
  9. We were loosely linked https://www.teamtalk.com/leicester-city/transfer-exclusive-rodgers-foxes-move-former-milan-full-back-bournemouth-look-to-muscle-in
  10. Burnley and Everton may not have been fortunate to have a conveyor belt of talent coming through from their academy so whilst Dyche shouldn't necessarily be criticised for his poor track record in blooding academy players, he's also minimal experience in doing so. Why would you choose a manager without that skill set? He's favoured experience over youth quite regularly in terms of signings, although he's nowhere near as bad in that regard as has been labelled. I think the biggest red flag for me though is he's never looked to recruit and trust creative flair players and that is literally our strongest area with major depth in Mavididi, Fatawu, Alves, BEK, Monga, Evans. For that reason alone he seems completely unsuited. If we stand any chance of getting ourselves out the mess we've preceded over in recent years then we need to build squad value too, so any manager coming in must have young player development as their number 1 priority.
  11. Isn't Ayew's most prolific season about 6 goals and that includes a season in the Championship as well? Absolute excrement.
  12. Hahahaha thanks pal. Literally produced banger after banger that window and yet I'll forever be haunted by TETE.
  13. Sadly my mum passed away in May. Doing the best I can and taking each day as it comes. Will be back on the pod soon mate, thanks.
  14. Trying to pal. Not been helped with me having some extremely bad news and now Jord's away for a bit but will get one done ASAP. Hopefully we have a new manager to talk about 😂
  15. We've had some exceptional talents coming through the academy, Barnes was the last one who got you off your seat but I think Monga has the ability to provide the buzz not seen since Joachim and Heskey when they were 17/18. Just pure, unaffected raw talent and not impacted by fear.
  16. His 100th LCFC goal was vs Fulham (assisted by Barnes) his 100th PL goal for LCFC was in lockdown vs Palace (assisted by Barnes too)
  17. Funnily enough his 100th PL goal for us was also assisted by Barnes and against another London club - Crystal Palace. I think?
  18. One thing i'm struggling to reconcile is, if we simply have to wait until July 1st to get rid because of PSR, is it not massively concerning we've had no solid rumours about players leaving this month? I'm unnerved that as it stands we'll not breach PSR for 24/25. Our club were confident we'd not breach 23/24 after the funds we raised for Enzo and KDH but that appears to be incorrect based on the recent charges brought. I know we could still avoid it but it shows either how subjective this is, or how difficult it seems to be for us to break free.
  19. Completely unsuitable to this squad of Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Alves, Evans. Although Mavididi had his best game of last season vs his Everton side so perhaps he'd be fond of him.
  20. Yeah he is. Amazed he's ended up there.
  21. I think we'll sign Danny Namasco (Loader) on loan from Porto this summer.
  22. Massively disagree with that. He tended to make an impact when he played which is not easy if you aren't first choice. I also cast doubt on us not being able to afford him. That was because we stupidly weren't entertaining selling Fofana at the start of the summer to fund a few additions that we required. We still had the rest of the summer, January and the following June to make any sales to make up the PSR shortfall and at that stage no club had ever been found guilty of breaching PSR and didn't seem to be treated as seriously. We fcuked up majorly.
