I take it you mean the players are tired not us? 😉 If so, why? Seriously. Other sides like Leeds or Ipswich don't have this slump in energy.

I accept that about the chances. But if we're dominating a game playing that sort of football, why then the seeming decision or propensity to stop doing it and try to defend slight leads?

Honest question. Who's responsible for this seeming unwillingness to kill off games and try to defend slender leads which invites pressure onto us?

Every time I've been to Leeds, it's been closed seemingly. The first time in 1986, we got on a train to Sheffield to find a decent pub. Hopefully things have changed since then.

Promotion. Finances matter these days.

The important thing is though none of us gives a monkey's about the 23 other clubs. We rightly focus on our club and we are making hard work of things with the tactics arguably a major part of that.

Dominate, score a goal and/or miss a load of chances. Sit back. Allow the opposition to begin to grow in confidence, dominate us then do nothing positive to address it and make baffling subs. OK, OTT and harsh maybe but increasingly more than a grain of truth in it.

The difference in mentality between us and Ipswich is so marked. They get stronger as games go on even when losing. We go into a shell and fall apart since Christmas.
