Looking like we have quite a bit of competition at the moment for the 3 midfield positions behind the striker. Chaplin, Cullen, Burns and Watson have all signed this summer. Added to Mavididi, BDR, Page, Alves. How do we think it’s going to look in this area of the pitch most weeks?

Still no club. Not seen any links recently either.

Is this the red button? -
Whoooooo
-
So no strikers at the moment?

I live in Manchester - I don’t think anyone expected this to be close from the conversations I’ve had or from what I’ve read. Manchester is solid Labour in this department. Would take a lot for that to change.

Exactly. The argument is that someone else from Sudan wouldn’t do this so just let them all in. Where’s the risk analysis?
-
But there’s people in this country who did “nothing wrong” who have been victims of serious crime from people who ultimately shouldn’t be here. Some of the stories are frightening. Any compassion for those people? Just because you favour one group v another doesn’t make you morally right. We already have issues amongst our native population - why welcome more risks amongst an illegal population?
-
I think it’s incredibly naive to think everyone entering western countries is at risk or fleeing war etc… And I don’t think you allow mass numbers of people in to a country that will include threats and a culture clash just because some of them are ok. The priority should be the safety of the British people from our perspective and if that means blocking some innocent people in to the country for our greater good than so be it. The crime rates for some nationalities v the national average or against other groups cannot be ignored. Just because some people from those countries are good citizens doesn’t mean you should take risks.
-
Let’s just say these people are leaving their home nations because of climate change… They are travelling through many safe countries in order to get to the UK. We know why they are going to great lengths to get to this country in particular. And do you really think we just welcome unknown predominantly males in to the country? It’s a security threat amongst other detrimental things. A lot of sympathy for what’s happened in Spain the last couple of days. Terrifying for the people that live in that area.

The kind of person the liberal left support in the name of diversity and inclusion 😂 He’s worth about 3 billion apparently - how much someone of that worth can put in I am not sure.

Is anyone able to paste the full article? -
Last time we were in League One Andy King unexpectedly made himself a starter for the first game and never looked back.
-
Hadn’t heard of Neale and Carr until this pre season. Highly rated?
-
So weve had a fair number of friendlies now and it seems to be the young lads that are impressing. For those that have been following the games - who looks most likely be involved in the first team in the league games? Alves and Braybrooke to finally be first team players?

If we are top half in the PL this maybe doesn’t happen. Or at least not at the same rate. When you are in league one, it’s an easy decision for them.
