As shitty as our form has been, we are still only 8 points behind the leader with a game in hand

Made rather hard work of it towards the end, but definitely seemed like an attempt to play a more positive style with less time spent waiting for opposing defenders to get into position. I hope this is a real change, but time will tell.

I actually enjoyed that, although with the qualifier that I only saw the last 25 mins. The lack of ability to actually put chances away was becoming frustrating until that great strike. I just hope we keep up this front foot, more direct style in the second half and don’t do the usual: sit back, bugger about with the ball in our own area, finally concede two in the last 5 mins.

Heard “You’re getting sacked in the morning…” chants on the broadcast. Was that their supporters or ours? Such a sad decline.
