Agreed. The initial point though was about general sale, or the lack of, and the paywall which the membership has become. I said there are no benefits to buying a membership other than spending more money to buy a ticket, and her response was, you get money off at the club shop when you spend yet more money

You can entice people to spend vast amounts of money to be allowed to enter the KP, but you can't make them support the team until the final whistle

Currently having a row with a woman on FB who is trying to explain the benefits of having a membership. Her points so far are that they are 'only' £40, and you get money off when you spend yet more money at the club shop Absolute clown, but sadly not alone in her way of defending the club.

After the debacle last year, it won't surprise you to hear that my husband very nonchalantly announced a couple of days ago that he saw some red cabbages the other day 'somewhere', but didn't buy one. Fvck knows why, I could have strangled him

We were there last year, but only as a stopover on the way to Italy. We liked what we saw, though, and said we will return to see it properly. We have stayed in Port Grimaud, which is further round the coast near St Tropez, and that was lovely. They call it the Venice of France because of the way it's built round the water, it really is a lovely part of France, but possibly too far from Marseille.

All my present shopping is done, and I haven't set foot inside an actual shop, just how I like it. Food shopping here won't get done until the end of the week, the Spanish have their main celebration in January so thankfully it will be like doing a normal food shop really, turkeys don't reach the supermarkets until Thursday at the earliest. I am fully expecting to spend most of the weekend trawling southern Spain for red cabbage and sausagemeat, everything else is easy to get.

That game was the only time I've ever really felt uncomfortable amongst our own fans, it was horrible, everyone was just so angry.

Thank you! I don't think I'd find buttermilk over here, we're starting the red cabbage hunt tomorrow that caused me so much pain last year, @tom27111 lived through it with me though It seems easy enough to make buttermilk yourself though, so I'll be giving this a go soon

Productive couple of hours in the kitchen this afternoon. Peanut butter chicken for dinner tonight, and chicken and pineapple, honey and garlic chicken thighs and chicken and tarragon pie all ready for another day. Tomorrow I'll cook the meat sauces for a cottage pie and a lasagne, and make the meatballs for a meatball and garlic bread bake. @Jattdogg I just 'assemble' the lasagne before I freeze it, I don't cook it, so it's not reheated, maybe that's the difference? @Bordersfox I will find the online recipe for the Mongolian beef and post it If someone has a good recipe for KFC style chicken I would like it please, there are lots online but they vary, I'd like a tried and tested one

It depends what you freeze. I batch cook on my days off, and everything I freeze tastes just as good as if it were fresh. In my freezer at the minute off the top of my head we have homemade lasagne, chilli, chicken satay, Mongolian beef, tagine, sweet and sour chicken, loads of things are just as good out of the freezer as they were the day they were cooked. Things with cream in don't tend to fare well, and I don't like vegetables which have been frozen, but it's quick enough to add them in later. Batch cooking is my saviour, we'd be forever eating out if I had to cook from scratch every evening after work
