  1. I’ll lay ‘em, you crack ‘em
  2. Well that worked quickly!
  3. Right, I’m going out to find a chicken, and strangle it as a sacrifice to the gods. I’ve read Homer. It’s the only way.
  4. We’re cursed. It’s the only explanation.
  5. Ah they sorted the sound.
  6. No worries. I was utterly perplexed until someone told me
  7. Go to sports. Scroll down til you see Haaland. Click on him. Scroll to bonus streams.
  8. Can someone who has twitter tweet at sky red button and tell them to sort their levels out? (I have no idea how these things work).
  9. That team should come out fighting.
  10. People here are weird. “We definitely lose the next one.” “We’re going to lose the next 3.” “We’re going to lose every match til the end of the season and a massive hole is going to open up in the East Midlands and swallow the ground, the team and the whole city.” While these things are possible (well maybe not that last), they are by no means likely, and are in fact unlikely. We as fans are in danger of emotionally-directed reasoning. Just take a look at eg bookies’ odds for an emotion-free assessment of the chances of eg losing on Tuesday, by people whose job it is to get it right*. Sunderland are 7/2 on my app to win. We are 3/4. That’s a 4 and a bit fold differential in our favour. So yes of course we could lose, but it’s not considered very likely that we will, and much more likely that we’ll win. * I am aware that bookies’ odds also take into account the sentiment of their punters, as judged by the amounts staked on each result - however if that has meant the posted odds on us winning are shorter than ‘reality’ that just means that a lot of people out there (the majority of whom presumably have no emotional investment in the result) also think we are most likely to win.
  11. To be fair to them, we’ve not beaten Leeds even only just…
  12. I mean, there was the actual second goal we scored too?
  13. Well I, for one, really ****ing enjoyed that! And the team will have too. Just what they needed. Oh, and I reckon we just might hold our own in the Prem next season.
  14. Loving hearing the fans. Good work everyone there
  15. When Fatawu came on I muttered to myself “it’s about time he scored a screamer.” I thank you <bows>
  16. See, although we would have wanted to see VAR in Friday’s game, I just don’t want to see goals to be disallowed for that kind of VAR-mediated ‘technical’ offside. That’s overreach in my opinion.
  17. The result was a kick in the guts, the wasted gilt-edged chances frustrating and the officiating overruling a perfectly good goal infuriating, but I maintain that we were a better team than them on the night, some of the football I saw us playing was sublime. If we play even half as well as that for the rest of the matches we'll be clear no problem.
  18. Wtf? Patson…
  19. Regardless of the result in this fraught game, we are clearly better than this lot.
  20. Pawson = Cnut. We all knew it.
  21. I ****ing love this team!
  22. **** Leeds. **** Farke. **** the Sky wankfest. Winnit.
  23. Minimum of 11 points ahead of 2nd. All good.
