Arsenal had 10 "Big Chances" yesterday We've had 8 Big Chances all season (joint 18th along with Wolves)
-
Deflected header from a set piece and a 0.0xG flukey wonderstrike to paper over the cracks of Martinelli getting loose from him for their first goal, Martinelli's cross for Trossard's goal coming from his flank, and kicking the ball out of Mad's hand straight into Havertz for their 4th goal. Not to pin the whole of the blame on JJ but it's yet more data for the worrying trend of how many goals we're shipping, baffling how Cooper doesn't realise it

Place your bets on who the first team to put a bid in for him will be I can see Barca offering £20m (£1m upfront and £19m to be paid in 2054) plus the ghost of Oriol Romeu's hamstrings in January to replace Ter Stegen

Should we call it the Okazaki role instead?
-
Can only see Arsenal taking a very early 2-0 lead, taking their foot off the gas and us doing nothing for the next 60 minutes until Ayew is subbed off for Fatawu at 75, we try to attack and then instantly concede a third or fourth Will be comparatively happy if it goes any better than that

What's the material like with Hummel kits? They can make really nice looking stuff but I've read that some have complained of the shirts feeling cheap and nasty
-
Umbro's UK sublicence being taken over by Castore doesn't fill me with confidence (effectively it seems like they'll be Castore's second tier brand in the future, meaning not very commercially lucrative deals?), but they have been doing some great kits lately What other brands would be appealing choices, New Balance maybe? Their kits for Porto and Lille this season are decent looking but they had some shockers with Liverpool

Coady hasn't shown any glimpses of being a PL-calibre defender in about 3 years Why should Cooper not be given the blame for chucking him on to defend a 1 goal lead with over 20 minutes including stoppage time left to play?

Ghezzal has signed for Çaykur Rizespor (mid table team) in the Turkish Süper Lig nice bit of photoshop for the announcement photo
-
His birth name is Bobby Armani Reid, he changed his name to add De Cordova in 2018 - at the time he said he hadn't officially changed it via deed poll yet so maybe he's still only unofficially BDCR.

I ordered one as well, will post pics when it arrives

I half expect Wrexham to sign with adidas and get their own retro adidas range before we do

LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes
lfu replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
What was the timing of your asking for the minutes to be released, and how sternly did you communicate it? There's a world of difference between waiting 6 weeks to send the comms director a friendly "oh, by the way, whenever you get a chance could you please release the minutes from the FCC meeting, ta", and writing within a fortnight to ask why they haven't been released, a hard date for they do plan to release them, what the comms team plan to do in the future to ensure minutes are released in a timely fashion, and (as davieG mentioned above), if the club fail to release the minutes within a certain time period then you will release your own minutes. You really must force the club's hand, because to those outside the trust it's clear that the club just do not respect your position and know they can get away with it. -

Maybe I expect better because the bog standard corporate responses prove that the club give zero ****s about the fans Maybe I'm a fool for wanting the club that represents my community to hold themselves to higher standards than this, or maybe I should just be happy that they released the meeting minutes at all, let alone 7 weeks later -
He's been without a club for 2 and a half years according to his transfermarkt page, back when he managed to play all of 4 games (two full 90s and two 45 minutes) for RFC Seraing in the Belgian 2nd division Isola Capo Rizzuto play in 5th tier of Italian football - which has 464 teams across 28 regional divisions. Probably equivalent to Step 4 or 5 on our non-league pyramid! So it'd be like (for example) Tom Lawrence or Michael Keane turning up for Barwell or Anstey Nomads

Agree to disagree - IMO every ten years and every 25 years is a worthy milestone to celebrate. It just can get a bit congested with x20, x25, x30 / x70, x75, x80 years

LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 24/07/24 Minutes

"Recapping on last season, SW expressed the Club’s appreciation from the fans for their support, despite relegation. The structure and standards of the Club didn’t change, there were no staff redundancies, which means the Club is ready to be back in the Premier League." I'll put emphasis on "The structure of the Club didn't change": What a great way to admit, over a year since we were relegated, that nobody in the club has been held accountable for being asleep at the while while they steered us on the path to relegation. Thanks for confirming that the make-believe review was exactly that, Sue! "Digital ticketing conversion wasn’t received as well as the Club had hoped." Then whoever at the club set the expectations for how fans received the news of digital ticketing needs to be sacked. Anyone with an anounce of professional competence could have seen this coming miles off - do they not know a single thing about matchgoing football fans? "AH said the Club were aware of some adverse supporter reaction to the announcement of match ticket prices." "Some" adverse supporter reaction Whelan and Herlihy out, both are absolutely stealing a living -
