Wow....just wow. We absolutely dominated them but not taking our chances and then going meek at the end cost us. Daka actually had a great game up until that miss...but strikers must score gilt edge chances like that. Stephy.... is possibly the most exasperating player in our team.

That is a given. If that is the case you keep the ball, probe, play the angles and still go for it when the gaps inevitably arise. You play like you have been for 75 minutes. You dont suddenly get frazzled and play scared. At the very least you keep the ball. You should also try and score too because 1-0 is an awfully slender lead. Also this is twice in one week we went negative after we score late. I am very very glad we won. I am sure Enzo didnt like how passive we were for those 20 or so minutes.

I got some good natured ribbing in the match thread for being so frustrated by us conceding but my point still remains; we need to stop being so negative when we score. We have attacking threats all over the pitch. When teams finally come out and try and attack, that is the time to put the game to bed. We were incredibly lucky. I hope the manager and the other backroom staff urge the players to keep pushing for goals (in a considered, non reckless way) after we score late in a game. Pretty average all around, although I thought KDH and Wilf were brilliant for the whole match. KDH's motor is utterly elite. He never tires. Fatuwu was also good when he came on. West Brom seemed well prepared and cut off many of our passing lanes. A tricky fixture. A lucky escape, hope we learn some lessons from it. I thought Kel was bang average but that last pass to start the break away was just chefs kiss amazing. Fair play.

Twice in one week is not unlucky. We go into our shells and invite pressure. We are scared of giving the ball away, so we don't attack, and then the other team feels a renewed sense of purpose, they pile pressure, they score. Twice in one week. Pathetic.

Casadei has been utterly underwhelming. He can do one.
