  1. I completely agree. Too early in the season to bin off a club competition, and it gives our players a taste of how 'our style' will fair in the Prem. I think we will play mostly on the counter but I predict there will be space for our players to operate in. I anticipate some changes but not wholesale - If we do that we may as well forfeit and I dont think Enzo is going to squander the chance to test his players against elite opposition.
  2. Crazy to think our third choice keeper, Iverson, could do a job for many teams in this division. I hope he can get a move in January. Poor ole Ward is just a sack of expensive potatoes, isnt he?
  3. I agree. I'd only rotate a couple of players. Give this group a taste of Anfield. I'd absolutely select Fatuwu, Winks, Ndidi, etc. We've got to play to win - it's unlikely Liverpool will play their best players so we do have a slight chance.
  4. He is so good. Not just his tactics, but players are actually becoming better and learning from him - case in point, Wilf and Vesty. Wilf in particular - I would never have thought he could be an attacking eight but he has been nothing short of sensational. The manager must take a lot of credit for that
  5. You must have caught him in a bad moment cause he was absolutely one of our best players today.
  6. Starting spot nailed on I reckon, at least for most matches. Kasey to come on and run at them from the 60 minute mark. It's brilliant to have so many great options out wide.
  7. That was honestly a really enjoyable game to watch. We absolutely dominated them and showed we can beat down a team that just miserably parks the bus. We are still a work in progress, but it's still so very early in the season. When this clicks (and surely when we have more runners arriving late in the box) we are going to start steamrolling teams on the scoreboard too. Fatuwu looks the real deal. Wilf has been an absolute revelation. Justin immense (and looks better than Doyle tbh) and even Vesty is playing so very very well. Happy days!
  8. If they score this will be daylight robbery.
  9. Silly from Nacho
  10. WILFIEEEEE
  11. This service is so pathetic.
  12. Kiernan frustrates me a lot.
  13. Foxes Hub just crashed.
  14. This looks like it's our strongest team. If we don't perform, I don't think we can blame team selection. This 11 should overwhelm most teams in this division.
  15. Kacey had to score there.
  16. We both should be 2-0 up and pegged back to 1-1
  17. Weirdly I dont think we have been our fluid best and yet we are one nill up and had another gilt-edged chance go begging. Love that two of their centrebacks are on yellows. I wonder if there will be some minor tweaks at halftime - I am hoping we can put these lot to the sword.
  18. What will George Elek say about us now?
  19. I loathe the great lump. I also think he has been average to poor most of this season. But not tonight. Tonight he was good. I hope this is the standard he sets going forward.
  20. I think he can be our main man even under this system - he played so many intelligent passes and kept the ball flowing, and his movement and guile pulled players out of position constantly. The greatest Fox ever.
  21. Doyle makes mistakes, but he is also a teenager. His pace and passing usually makes up for his positional errors. I dont get the criticisms of Casadei, who I think has been very good in every game. And WAY too early to judge Yunus
  22. They truly are the biggest bellends of all.
  23. I do not respect him, nor his flagrant lack of ambition. He lost his place in the Danish side because he'd rather run out a contract even though he had been actively banished under the previous manager. My frustration is not just this falling through - at least he is in the first 11 for now. It is all the other times when he could have secured good moves on good money, to Premier League clubs, to play at a club that clearly doesnt rate him at all. I find that lack of ambition quite sad, and compounding that, he is a drag on the club's finances. Also please dont assume we'd all be as unambitious as Vestergaard. There are some things more valuable than money.
