  1. Thought it was very good yesterday. As many have alluded to, a big factor is fresh faces and not all the usual STH's. It shows there is potential. All those who moved in yesterday and have talked about relocating, it can be done immediately. ST's can be moved during a season, not just during relocation periods in the off season. This is the only way atmosphere has a chance of improving for league games. Fantastic day yesterday
  2. On right now
  3. FYI, you could move your ST into the section if you wanted. Even now mid season. See how you get on this weekend but hopefully you will have a good time!
  4. Taking mine to his first match on Saturday, he is 7 next week. I don't think I would really take them if they were much younger but each to their own. Many factors that come into play. However, with going through the turnstile, I would suggest you ask a steward to help or at least just keep close by. You could try both going through the turnstile at once or alternatively, risk scanning the first ticket and putting your kid through first, then scanning the second ticket and getting yourself through. Maybe email the club and ask for guidance? They might send you to an alternative gated entrance to make it easier.
  5. Fair enough. I would keep checking back closer to each league game then. Pretty sure I have seen seats in there for every match so far but they get added late. Nothing for Swansea yet which is only 5 days away
  6. Birmingham will be good to sample as it's about a third of the normal price.
  7. What game are you looking at? Those seats usually only get released a week or so before I think, maybe even less.
  8. Have a look in the thread about the expansion, there was some talk about it moving round a bit (therefore L1 as it is currently would be next to home fans going forward).
  9. Yes. The club are under a fair bit of pressure from the authorities (PL, SGSA) to install safe standing. They know standing happens at every game but they now need to put something in place to allow that to be done safely, not to stop people standing. However, once it is installed, standing elsewhere will likely be clamped down upon.
  10. With the proposed expansion P1 will likely become an away block (if the current plans are accurate). Away fans are being moved round to more behind the goal.
  11. The singing section contains 792 seats (I haven't counted but this has been told to UFS in meetings by the club on several occasions).
  12. The Swansea game is massive for us. We will get a head start on Ipswich and Southampton. If we beat Swansea, we will be 10 and 11 points, respectively, ahead of them. They will have to wait until 20th February to make up that lost game.
  13. Most re-arranged fixtures seem to be Tuesday 20th February. As Leeds vs Leicester is the Friday, maybe they gave us the option to play the game around the FA Cup weekend (less pressure on squads as likely rotating in cup games anyway). Plus the points you make. I would imagine FA Cup replays could be w/c 5th February as well.
  14. Don't agree with that. We are in the driving seat. The pressure is on the chasers to better our results at least 3 times while never being worse than us. Said this to my mates yesterday, every game we win from now, the chasers have to win just to keep in touch. In fact, to better us they have to keep winning and hope we drop points. If we get to a point (which I don't think we will) where both Ipswich and Southampton have overtaken us, then yes, the pressure is on us.
  15. Funnily enough I have just looked at us having an average spell and what that actually means. By average I am thinking something around: 8W 5D 5L We finish on 95 points. Ipswich would need 36 from their last 18 matches and Southampton 37 from their last 18 matches. That would mean both Ipswich and Southampton putting runs together of: W12 D1 L5 OR W11 D4 L3 Ipswich can have one less draw. If we have an above average return, both Ipswich and Southampton would have to almost go unbeaten until the end of the season with mostly wins.
  16. Even Vichai in your profile picture can't take you serious.
  17. Not tonight no. Didn't hear any of those chants at all.
  18. I think, or at least I feel confident, that we will win this. I hope we set a marker and win comfortably. 3-0 or 3-1. However, I can see us squeeze a 2-1 which would be just as good mentally for the squad.
  19. It was all good for me, lined up to play rugby this weekend. Then it was called off due to frozen pitch. So I got to put up some blinds in the kitchen instead...I feel your pain.
  20. But we all know what points make?
  21. We included it in the email conversations before the meeting but I think one step at a time with them right now. They are even more protective of away games but might be something to mention next time round and go into more details. I believe the Cardiff game did drop to booking history which is the next best thing. Blackburn is the only game this season where we could have had a bigger allocation and sold to general sale if wanted. The only other big allocation coming our way is Preston but that being the last away game, I can see us sell nearly 5,000 tickets before general sale.
  22. It has dropped to priority points as of today, so another step in the right direction.
  23. They give the same to every club.
