Unfortunately the ticket office are mostly useless. The best person to contact for this would be Jim. He will no doubt listen to any needs you and your grandson will have and get you sorted.
-
You'll have to wait until next season then. No replays in the FA Cup now.

Hull Away - Sat 9th March, 3pm

That sort of pricing should be standard. Well done Hull. -
Nailed on Friday night surely

That last line is rubbish. 1. Leeds are not a promotion rival!!! 2. Souttar will not improve them dramatically.

A TIFO is already planned for that game. Even if not, it would not be easy to turn something around so quickly. Needs design going to club for approval, materials ordering, volunteers of the group to make it (paint, roll foils etc.) and then planning the setup pre-match. However, there are possibly other ways that are quicker and easier to back Enzo at the next match and show at least some appreciation.

Fully understand that, but I don't agree with it. Especially since the football club is part of the wider community. It should be more accessible. As I mentioned above, when you have players on the books earning 6 figure sums on a weekly basis but you can't drop prices by £10, it makes you think. Something isn't right there. Get the same thing with large organisations like banks where the top 10% are probably earning 90% of the money. And the majority aren't worth it. And my main gripe with the pricing is the difference between what a STH pays per match compared to a member/non-member. And I have a ST so don't even fall into that bracket. If you know you can only make half of the home games, you are financially better off having a ST than a membership and buying individual match tickets. Might have this wrong but aren't you a member?
-
For me, it's less about increasing uptake and more about making Leicester games more affordable to more people. Although cheaper prices would certainly drive more demand. FA Cup pricing was OK but again, could be better if being picky. It seems a lot of STH's didn't bother. If it was £10 rather than £18 for STH's, would we have sold out? Hard to say for definite but I think we would. The other thing is that we were "lucky" it was Birmingham and not Hull as prices would have been the same but attendance would have been probably 5k less. Still much better value for families/groups attending than a league game for sure.

If we are reliant on money from those tickets then as a club we are badly run, commercially. You would be annoyed if your employer halved your wages to make more profit. Just because it makes commercial sense, doesn't mean it's right. Let's assume 5,000 tickets every game are available to buy. Multiplied by 19 (going off PL). Assuming every game sells out (which it should in the PL), we are at 95,000 ticket sales for the season. If we assume an average reduction of £10 per ticket, that's roughly £1M gap. What's our wage bill? Pretty sure £1M barely scrapes the edges over the season. How about we reduce our wage bill slightly and don't give out ridiculous contracts and be a bit more sensible with transfer business? The latter will not be such a big deal but saving £10 off a match ticket can make a huge difference to individuals. I see what you are saying, but it's a lazy excuse and simply money making at all costs. It increases the affordability divide in the fanbase and those at the bottom suffer.

Yes, you can move your ST into any available seats for any game as a one off. If the ticket office don't have a clue, once again, Jim is your man to sort that. It was something he brought up in a meeting over the summer.
-
This sounds wrong...
-
Also, that highlighted part, was it the club not offering you many seats in there or was it the fact the seats were much further back or something?
-
As above, there is definitely space (for now at least). Another poster a page back managed to get sorted but I did send him Jim's way. The ticket office don't seem quite as switched on when it comes to relocations. So if you want to move for the rest of the season, get in touch with Jim and he can help you.

That is ridiculous pricing. A ST works out OK for the cheaper areas. I think mine comes in around £19 a game. However, on a match by match basis, my ticket would be between £36-39 which is almost double. On top of possibly membership fees which depending how many games a person goes could easily be between £2-5 on top. So a non-STH could be looking at match ticket prices of £38-£44 for the cheaper tickets. Match ticket prices should be reduced by at least 25% for members. You could have something like this based on my example: £19 a game for STH (average) £28 a game for members £32 a game for non-members That way it gives members a discount over those without membership (currently the membership gives no monetary benefit).
-
Hopefully, this will not be happening going forward. Games where tickets are available should be made public.
-
Ticket prices (match by match) need to be reduced dramatically.
-
I strongly suggest those people who don't get excited by going to watch us simply give up their ST's. If I was paying £100's for something I don't enjoy I should be questioning my life decisions. If you can't support your team in good and bad, then don't bother. Glory fans can go to one of the more successful clubs.
-
My suggestion would be to get in touch with Jim directly. In various meetings with the club we have been told there is space to relocate in (and looking at availability when it goes on members sale, there seem to be enough spots to move into).

Yes

M1 was on sale last week but they have taken it off. As a post above mentions, there are thousands of empty seats throughout the stadium (ticket resale I would imagine) and they are likely selling them first (no way they all sell anyway). In fact, with the game having only just gone on sale, It is likely that loads of tickets simply haven't been snapped up by members.

LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
KrefelderFox666 replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sure you've had plenty of quotes on this but here is another. General sale is not just about selling out remaining seats, the main purpose is to enable fans who cannot usually attend matches to get their foot in the door. I know at least 2 people who made use of this. So that's a win. The fact it didn't sell out is not the problem of general sale, it's the fact so many STH's and members couldn't be bothered or simply didn't want to spend more money (whatever the reason).
