Was always going to be a tough ask to get something at Walsall. Thought we played well enough, but second half almost looked like us from the past few seasons. Not often we concede 3 goals these days. I feel like we have weathered the storm without our 2 best players(and now arguably our best defender), but we desperately need everyone back if we're going to have any chance of promotion.

If there was an award for most likeable player, he'd win it.

Turns out we did put out a strong lineup, or at least the best we had available. Good first half. Not so good second At least we made them work for it. Back to league play with a tough one away Tuesday.

As much as I'd love for us to continue on, I can't see Maynard putting out a strong squad at the Posh. We're just spread too thin and a huge match on Tuesday at Walsall.
