  1. Gutting that this role is basically built for Fatawu
  2. Bring him on for an impact etc absolutely, but starting, especially in a wide role isn't his game anymore
  3. Genuinely awful. His game is winning fouls, holding up the ball, linking passes etc Everything he did just didn't work today. You can see what we wanted him for, but he was awful.
  4. He was poor today. Weird decision making across the board if I'm honest. Never got the chance to impact the game, but all the same not the level needed
  5. He was nearly involved in throwing away our 10/12 point lead and bottling promotion. Chelsea were also a shit show throughout the club. No one predicted him to do this well. Hats off to him, he's made it all click and knitted that squad well together.
  6. That's ballsy
  7. 2 pieces of defensive stupidity
  8. Not scared to change style or set up if it isn't working, big plus
  9. Those who queue up to leave the ground car park baffle me
  10. He seems to go one for slightly more defensive and directness in running
  11. Bhilal seem to drift into the wing space today rather than drive forward as much. Missed Buonanotte to link up with in that aspect. Ayew was very poor
  12. It's dreadfully amateurish. But when the big game of the weekend has analysis from Jamie Redknapp, Merson and Carragher, you're hardly going to get anything worth listening to.
  13. Kasey looks scared to take his man on, positionally very good but no end product
  14. We weren't at it today, yet never were we outplayed. The patterns of play are getting stronger and more engrained. Kristiansen continues to improve
  15. He's been great - strong, covering everywhere well, but then having the quality to carry us up the pitch
  16. Wouldn't shock me, he's hardly been successful at Nice or some of his other sporting investments - cycling for instance
  17. Considering the amount they did to get him, huge they're getting rid already
  18. I swear we used to do this, I have a memory of Birch walking around with a microphone and getting a random kid/old dear to read the teams out. Since he's got on, we've never brought someone else in to do that role, and seemed to have shifted to a corporate standing on everything
  19. Ref shouldn't be blowing then
  20. Never a penalty,
  21. Id love for us to buy back Barnes in the future
  22. Great for at home fans that you can watch so many games in one place. But the timings are another nail in the coffin of match going fans. Do not envy any of the travelling United fans travelling back to Manchester tonight
  23. The counter attacking move from the keeper was brilliantly made by him.
  24. Interesting wording there; he's refused to wear it so the squad have decided not to so he isn't the only one not wearing it. The team decided the following action to be taken, surely very rarely an entire squad all agree on one thing? (minus sacking cooper) "The team then decided that no players would wear the tracksuit so that Mazraoui would not be the only one seen publicly to be refusing to wear it. The decision was taken a matter of hours before the game on Sunday. The Athletic has been told that not everyone in the dressing room was happy with this decision." His is very similar as Morsey surely, due to their beliefs didn't wish to wear it. Entire ordeal creates more division rather than the inclusivity it's meant to bring.
  25. And at no point did their passing seem stressed or off, no stupid risks taken
