Reasonably straight forward on the phone. Rang up at 9:52, 8th in the queue, got through at dead on 10am. Set up on direct debit in 5 minutes. -
Sunday’s game will be Jamie Vardy’s 500th and final LCFC appearance just now from the club

Anecdotally the cut off was 20. We have had people successful on 20 and unsuccessful on 19. In theory everyone with 21 points and above will have guaranteed being successful barring a ticket office mess up. Most people on 20 should have been successful. 19 unsucessful. -

For 90 minutes long We'll sing this song for Mavididi Running past defenders We're gonna win the league again... Woah, woah woaaaaaaah
-
A push for promotion (whether it materialises or not) and a squad full of new players which aren't burdened by negative history should help our songbook. I think a real push needs to be to get songs started in pre-season for our players, updates to the ones that stay if needed, new songs for new players. The biggest issue is we either don't have or don't seem to sing a lot of good songs for the club specifically. We don't have a very catchy version for what teams like Villa and pool have for Allez Allez Allez (and i'm not saying we should take it). For me, our best chant for repetition once it got going at aways was the Maddison one which we took from Ajax amongst other European teams. If we could convert it into a club chant it would take off given a push.

Tickets on sale on 16th (Friday) this week, we should hear back in the next few days. -
Criminal from the club that it ends like this.
-
Opened up the edge 5 seats of S1D now. 100% holding blocks back to return.
-
At least the feelings mutual.
-
Well the same 2 single seats keep popping up, unless the automation is that every single seat from the first batch has to completely sell (not add to bag), and then, and only then, will the next block open. Someone keeps not checking out the block will never open. Which again is completely daft because people don't want the single seats, why hold back 700 tickets just to sell 1 or 2 single seats?
-
Don't even joke - it's very possible. It's just beyond frustrating. Why no automation? Why not have someone look at it at 16:59 and think, oh someone will need to open that in 5 minutes. Oh well not my job - hello weekend.
-
There's a whole block left in S1E behind the goal, just waiting on the club to open it.
-
Oh I know more will be on sale, but the only reason we've waited is to get my son who is a member a ticket with us three who have higher priority. We need to get him ones closer to the front or an aisle so he can see, and it's just to inconvenient that when they know a block will sell out and another needs to be open that they can't schedule it, or put it at a time someone will be working. It's not exactly rocket science.
-
Correct, 2 more blocks, which baffles why they put members on sale at 5pm, with only around 25 tickets left in remaining blocks, which went instantly, and yet won't open up any more blocks automatically. 5pm on sale when they go home for the weekend.

Any spare under 18 references?

A must is that sweet dreams and on Wednesday nights come out again on all away games - no reason we shouldn’t sing about our European adventures.

EFL Statement: FA Cup Replays The EFL wishes to clarify further its position in respect of yesterday’s Premier League and Football Association bi-lateral announcement over the removal of FA Cup replays and the role of the League’s representatives on the Professional Game Board (PGB). The agreement which now sees the abolition of replays from the competition format was agreed solely between the Premier League and FA. Ahead of the deal being announced there was no agreement with the EFL nor was there any formal consultation with EFL Clubs as members of the FA and participants in the competition. In September 2023, the EFL did initially discuss with Clubs potential changes to the FA Cup format but only as part of a wider and more fundamental change to financial distributions. As is now clear, there has been no movement in this area since September. This latest agreement between the Premier League and the FA, in the absence of financial reform, is just a further example of how the EFL and its Clubs are being marginalised in favour of others further up the pyramid and that only serves to threaten the future of the English game. The EFL today calls on both the Premier League and the FA, as the Governing body, to re-evaluate their approach to their footballing partnership with the EFL and engage more collaboratively on issues directly affecting our Clubs. A separate issue is the role of the EFL representatives on the Professional Game Board (PGB) in agreeing to the 2024/25 overall fixture calendar. PGB is there to make technical decisions across the game as opposed to key policy decisions such as competition changes or formats. Any decisions taken on the calendar involving EFL representatives are in no way an endorsement of the joint deal agreed between the FA and Premier League that imposes changes to the FA Cup competition format in isolation. As part of the discussions the EFL representatives did challenge the position and were told that Clubs would be comfortable with no replays. They were effectively advised that, as a result, of it being an FA competition, the fixture list needed to be agreed as presented. It is also important to note that this matter was not discussed by the FA Cup committee, a separate group that oversees the competition across the professional and national game. https://www.efl.com/news/2024/april/19/efl-statement--fa-cup-replays/

A huge number of EFL clubs now issued very strong statements. Need all 72 to come out, and need supporters aggresively pushing their own clubs to release a condeming statement. Tranmere were the first (posted above), but some great ones, Wigan, Blackburn Rovers etc. Need a lot of pressure on Leicester to get a statement out ASAP.
