Over 8k tickets unsold. Rudimentary logic says 24k seats sold at an average of £22.50 (yes kids tickets, but also hospitality balancing out) - £540k. Just lowering to £15 STH/M and £20 general sale, assuming average of £17.50 would bring in a sell out at £560k. Massive miss and fans are quite rightfully voting with their feet. -
And Brighton - since the start of this season. https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/news/2802772/important-update-regarding-away-tickets I would imagine all clubs are implementing something on a small scale which is Premier League driven and hidden behind the cloak of 'disorder on the rise' which is the running narrative.

These are very different. I personally don't see a major issue with this - there's no limit at brentford for how many matches you miss - all they ask is that you list the seat. There would obviously be exceptions where people can't make a match last minute and re-listing isn't a priority but if you miss 4 games and can't be bothered to sell the ticket on either yourself or by the club then are you really that bothered? Man Utd is much more sinister in that you are obligated to purchase all home cup tickets at the ridiculous prices they set otherwise they will ban you from premier league matches. -
And Stuart ‘I didn’t see anything wrong with the Sabitzer challenge’ Atwell on VAR.

What caused the protests in the UK was the fact it would remove them from their domestic leagues and also the sense of injustice from unfair competition - ie closed shop. This is one of the issues having been removed from the revised plans. We need to see if the fans feel as vociferously towards the new proposals and what stance the PL takes to see what sort of protest will end up taking place. Need a few high profile people in football to speak out against it as well.

David Nugent and Ritchie De Leat's kids went to my son's nursery - tried to encourage a 2/3 year old to play with a specific child to get invited to the birthday parties which failed.

For me, none of the other 'Big 6' would side with Man City? Newcastle - yes, they want to invest as much money as quickly as possible but are still cautious at the moment and watching with interest as they don't want to push it through a route which goes against the rules. You could argue that with Man City out of the way they genuinely have a crack at winning a title against Arsenal even in future seasons. Liverpool - With City out of the way they could potentially be handed another title from 2013/14 and would see a rival down if they could pick up form. Manchester United - could be handed two additional titles and are never in risk of breaching FFP rules with dodgy investing as all money is self generated. Only caveat is if this middle east firm invests. Spurs - play everything by the book and on a tight budget with Levy. Could easily sue for several seasons of missed CL revenue. Arsenal - again, play by the book spending self generated funds and would see their main rival this season out of the way. Chelsea would be the only one which I suppose would rather they could invest without consequence and no other risk/threat from City.

All the charges are against a time period where we either finished above them (2015/16) or at least one place or more away from European competition. During the entirety of the period they have been charged if they had not fulfilled that place we would not have gotten European Competition. So any potential legal action from ourselves would simply be one league positions worth of prize money each season. These charges are separate and from a different time period than when we finished 5th.

His name is Harry, he comes from Aberdeen, They say he's Aussie, it don't matter to me, He's ****ing massive, he's taller than the shard, We're Leicester City, we've got Harry Souttar. Da da da da da, da da da da da da Push It - Salt N Peppa

Genuinely interested - what fee would he have had to come in for in order for people to say that he was a good signing? Always gave his all, had his crucial moments for us, had bad runs of form like most of our team at times, was critical to our play during our runs towards 5th place when we were playing some sublime football. I get that 30m feels like a lot of money but we've spent more on worse. He can't control the price. If he was brought in for 15m would you have given him as hard a time?

I certainly wouldn't. All fans have to accept that a manager cannot come and implement their football without keeping the players they want and bringing in the players that fit their style of play into the squad over several windows. If we were offered Potter with the acceptance of several tough seasons to get to consistency then I would take it. The difference is Rodgers has showed what we can do and then regressed with largely the same squad and signings which haven't improved the quality of the overall squad.

Updated as Albrighton captain -
I did see someone catch it and throw it back at them which was pleasing.

I was asked to be given a pat down in G2 before going into the stadium in what is a low risk part of the home end. Make it make sense.

Was our best player by a mile last night.

Fulham (H) | 03/01/23 | Post-Match Thread

My issue isn't even with the 7 minutes, or when he blew, but what is the point of booking someone in the 96th minute for timewasting when he's done it since the 25th minute. I understand it was his first premier league match and he was completely out of his depth, but in the first half he spoke to Leno about time wasting, walked away and blew his whistle twice and he continued to delay. Book him then and he doesn't do it for the remainder of the match. Fulham abusing the head injuries rule as well is setting a dangerous precedent. -
I agree - but I still saw hundreds being taken out of the stadium. People were going round picking them up after the game and walking out with them. A shame as it did look effective. Personally think they should also be encouraged during WYS pre kick off.
