  1. Think that was telling Mav to run past the FB
  2. Suspended
  3. We watched the original with our teenager this year too. Have since watched 2 & 3.
  4. Certainly sounds like you are doing your bit. Did you get your EV through Octopus if you don’t mind me asking?
  5. Yeah, we had it done a couple of years ago, not through Octopus (who I like a lot by the way) but through CB heating and got the BUS Scheme discount of about £5.5k. We are very happy with it after initial installer failures, nothing to do with the tech. Our personal contribution was about ~9k (so totally about ~14k) but we wanted to do it for environmental reasons as well as our boiler packing in. The other point to consider is quite how much money you may save, as I know we have saved far more than I thought we would.
  6. Isn’t he underwhelming at Stoke?
  7. For the long term sake of the club, we need better at a club staff level far far more than we need better players.
  8. It’s this for me, Daka is out of form and looks akin to some feckless trial it’s at present (even though he has performed in a weaker league) but he always works hard. Kel is an enigma for sure, but he goes missing far too much. On a related note, Daka arrived with fanfare and was rejoiced by fans and media a like, but suspect he was lauded due to coming from the Haaland stable.
  9. Paying for 5 years of anyone’s time for very occasional good form is not really good enough, his inconsistency made him bad value. That may have not been his fault in part, as Vardy (to this day) casts a ridiculously large shadow.
  10. Both in the not good enough league, what tier is not really relevant.
  11. Even with that in mind, it’s still quite a big call to start Skipp ahead of Bouba imo
  12. As weird as it seems, being good or decent are not the only reasons to extend someone’s contract. We seem to extend in the vain hope we can subsequently sell them, but this is clearly bonkers, as we are quite poor at offloading our unwanted assets.
  13. Ah sorry, I responded in isolation so, perhaps went of half cocked (as usual).
  14. It’s not all doom and gloom, we got Bilal and he looks like a proper player, with a massive return in the future. So we are occasionally able to pick a decent player, and I have not given up on Okoli just yet.
  15. Why do you think he would want to come? We made him leave for PSR reasons, and now we consider negotiating a loan? Both he and Chelsea would likely tell us where to go.
  16. Its true. it would have been the right thing both the honourable thing to do, let alone good for his well being.
  17. It was an obvious and sensible thing for Ruud to do, taking dodgy Danny out the spotlight cures the crowd of its minute 1 poisonous atmosphere, then play Jakub (or Iversen) and the mood was always going to lift. Bonus that Jakub did well, so we should hold little fear for him as Mads’ deputy.
  18. Agree, surely this relates to what makes a team part of the EPL or the Championship, at its core of this argument? If the EPL could have shown we were an EPL team then I am sure they would have, and the same will no doubt be a test case in relation to the Championship too.
  19. The more matches I see, the more I think yes he is a problem, but he also seems way more isolated than Kristiansen on the opposite flank. With a faster CB alongside him, he would surely get more cover and I don’t think the RW is helping as much as required. Still pants, but not all of his doing I think.
  20. Daka you could have been a hero. Oh well eh?
  21. Jakub good, first half worked hard, second half they took it out if first gear. No shame or surprise. Next. Oh feck.
  22. Think whilst Ayew pops up with goals you might need to get over that.
  23. That’s right Ruud, this is how it feels being the recipient of a refereeing performance when you are playing a top 6 side when you are not one yourself, breathe it in.
  24. The depths of our decline is really felt by the fact it is with some degree of relief I view this score line
