  1. Seems like they have typically differing roles too, hopefully he gets a move somewhere and we can see how he does at higher level.
  2. Yes but you are comparing footballing ability on an uneven stage, it may well be as you say but comparing Skipp in the Premier League to Keita in Jupiter is not a reasonable comparison.
  3. After watching our midfield evaporate the last time we were in the Premier League, I am surprised so many are opposed. Yes, we need more creativity, but its hard not to see some sense in this signing. (And he is even 15m euros on transfermrkt which is generally low)
  4. All this is true, but it proliferates inactivity and I am unconvinced how much longer we can be ostrich's on this topic or rather the ramifications of doing nothing. I do agree that a wealth tax is fraught with complexities and that closing the loop holes or perhaps more controversially, directing how and when taxes of this sort are gathered, is a massive headache but still think its one we have bear.
  5. We don't need no Keita, we got Skipp
  6. Don’t buy a striker as it will be another failure, just loan one.
  7. And if we had put Braybrooke in, kept the cash and got relegated, you would have been ok with that?
  8. Before Skipp €39m, so plenty of scope
  9. Now if this @moore_94 posting this, then get out the bunting and the champagne, but as far as I am aware there is no other time Lord who frequents these dark and seedy pages,
  10. Didn’t ask, felt rude.
  11. Rayan Cherki is coming to the Premier League
  12. If it helps forms a solid base in the middle, from which we can protect the defence and build and attack, then fine. We just need too know who is going to be doing the building.
  13. Free agents | Transfermarkt There you go, fill your boots
  14. its only 4 or 5 m this year, so it shouldn`t stop us signing a striker hopefully I don`t get the problem with the fee, as he is young, English and we are buying from one of those clubs so its not a surprise.
  15. He will get more game time here than at Brighton I reckon, but not first choice. Could be wrong!
  16. Doubt Buonanotte will be first choice
  17. Assuming we will have At least 1 right/left wide defender who can contribute to the attacking phase (2 seems unlikely from pre-season) 2 wingers who also will 1 midfielder of the 3 who will be contributing potentially a forward who can drop deeper to also contribute This obviously does not mean all these are creatively contributors, but the wingers should be, plus the most creative midfielder (Winks assumed) and the forward being able to contribute creatively. Thinking we might be reduced to this (reportedly) after losing out Soule and Hzolek (But I guess we did bring Buonanotte in)
  18. Well this guy is not imminent I guess
  19. I do apologise Oz for the unnecessary sarcasm, just gets a little tiring to read so much negativity on here in nigh on every single thread. Unlike @LeePhilpottsBaldSpot I don’t have the excuse of a young one, so please forgive my lack of tolerance.
  20. Another Daka or a Musa perhaps. To be honest, it might be prudent to loan a half decent striker as we, I believe the term is, suck ass at recruiting strikers post Vardy.
  21. Let’s not be silly it’s one deal and a headline figure only, we do not know do we?
  22. Yes, that is exactly how the real world works, transfers is just like Amazon.
