  1. Feel I need to make an admission here, and in response to this post feels appropriate, so sorry @Muzzy_no7 I called you a dinosaur for suggesting Moyes, it was a reaction to the impeding loss of what was personally felt to be the end of a new fresh direction for us. However, such managers should not be discounted as their experience is valuable and in this instance, may be a better route for survival options. Still don’t feel such a manager would be chosen, but that’s a separate topic.
  2. That 10m looking less clever by the moment. Oops, sorry 11m.
  3. Hey, just a guess, as I doubt he polled the entire fan base, but maybe he did!
  4. Well he presumably meant the vast majority of people who completed the poll, rather than the vast majority of Leicester fans.
  5. Vast majority of those that completed the poll, not the entire fan base or stadium attendees. Not sure what you think he meant.
  6. Well played Enzo, well played.
  7. But this is the mentality that got us promoted and have been playing for a year, sure it’s not Enzo precisely, but it would likely be relatable. The discussion about pro or against the style has been done to death already. So continue and add to swap the square pegs, or go in a new direction. Maybe the new manager would even be more flexible!!
  8. Then it’s old man Moyes who is more pragmatic, but it would not be project and we would be back to working year to year, which is a shame.
  9. I actually believe the only reason is extending is under the condition he can leave for Man Utd when they are ready, as I believe he met with them this close season. If that’s true, then good on him I say.
  10. Agree, so I would be surprised to see them break the pattern here.
  11. Did it, or is that one of those “common knowledge” things?
  12. Gattuso, but he is sometimes good and sometimes shit
  13. Take a seat, I have news..….
  14. Somebody who arrives with a massive chip on their shoulder and a lifetime membership to the siege mentality club.
  15. The two things aren’t exclusive, he did great great things for the club, no question, and will and should always be highly regarded for that. His playing style was sometimes good, sometimes less so in my opinion and it’s personal preference. This is no way diminishes the extent of the successful foundations he established. It’s not a binary statement.
  16. Yet, not punctuation it seems.
  17. It was about the style, you have brought in what he did for the club which is totally untouchable. It’s only a non argument if you don’t read the question.
  18. You do realise it’s possible to appreciate different things in football right?
  19. Suppose the question is what do we want, a guy who can get us survival and then replacing them, or a project person who can hopefully get us survival.
  20. You burning your bridges on purpose?
  21. Each to their own, but blimey. The man is not the football.
  22. Not sure what colour those glasses are but they definitely need checking. He was entertaining though.
  23. Might be a dumb question (sure it is, but I like in hope) but can compensation for a manager be liable to amortisation?
  24. I am starting to think this might be a master stroke. The Shed End forum is absolutely golden.
  25. One way or another please.
