  1. If Enzo’s conversations are around how to improve the club infrastructure (and let’s be honest there would likely be a discussion around remuneration after promotion but it needs to be sensible), then it seems reasonable. If he goes he goes but the situation would be as normal, “good he’s gone” for some, what that means in reality is much more concerning. No, he isn’t that special yet, he did well albeit with a scary period with a good squad, but my concerns are around undoing preparations, training, etc and I would dispute just air dropping in a.n.other could ever leave us as well prepared than if he were to remain.
  2. Plenty would go “I can finally get a ticket!” so captive audience springs to mind.
  3. The why was on public record.
  4. Sorry? He wouldn’t walk away because he couldn’t pay his gas bill?
  5. Then why wouldn’t he leave when it was reported he was misled? It was a perfect opportunity, his stock would have been no lower, and he would be more appealing as a free agent.
  6. Well he will be here obviously, but seriously he was never a long term manager, so here for a year and gone I assume.
  7. Indeed, you take a look on ITFC and it’s a mix of anger, resignation and thankfulness.
  8. Such experienced managers would not accept the level of interference from board room level we are starting to see.
  9. There is certainly noises around Amorim on their forums, but it may just be wishful thinking.
  10. You are not wrong
  11. EPL / EFL to introduce a manager roulette to maximise this new found excitement? Every 6 months every club draws lots on who will be their next manager for the next 6 months This would be shown exclusively live* on Sky with a star studded cast lead by Kaveh Solhekol They would add an American wildcard manager every 12 months into the mix to spice things up Those in Europe can "veto" their choice a certain number of time, this being decided by a factor related to their revenue (and/or contributions to the good of mankind) We provide token acknowledgement to THE PYRAMID a non-league manager would also feature in this joyous roulette and features on an accompanying Cash in Attic type series
  12. So McKenna to Man Utd Kompany to Bayern Maresca to Barcelona Rudkin to Shaktar Donetsk What a time to be alive
  13. Yes then we go for…….about 20 quid down the market
  14. So McKenna goes Man Utd or Brighton, and Enzo goes Chelsea So next season we could see either Farke or Martin rock up at the KP in an open top Popemobile giving it the biggun Great.
  15. Only as a thought experiment
  16. Give Carlos Corberan Enzo’s salary, a bag of crisps and some good wishes and hide until this damned season is over.
  17. It’s a brave man who refuses an expensive basket in favour of a bargain one though.
  18. Isn’t that guy who just said no to Chelsea?
  19. Isn’t what matters where you end up, rather than either of those choices?
  20. Alright, I am sold, we can include Enzo in that particular deal.
  21. Not sure where the correlation is here, you formed an opinion on Fabrizio’s post on the basis of zero facts from those involved and favoured hearsay. Sounded like Kangaroo court judgement too me. Hey, if I am wide of the mark, so be it, but it won’t be the last time I am wrong this lifetime.
  22. Yes it’s Chelsea and it is obviously an appealing position, but when a manager is linked and is reportedly not opposed to be linked to such a reputable position, that fact means he would destroy a years worth of bonding with the team he got promoted. Not sure who the bigger snowflake is here tbh.
  23. Did I dispute the “keen to join Chelsea” thing? I think this is normal media stuff where facts are secondary.
  24. Could easily see it being McKenna to Brighton, Enzo to Chelsea, but… …see Man Utd are moving closer to McKenna …Enzo feels a tragic choice for a Chelsea, especially as there is still noise around Amorim. Maybe Enzo ends up at Brighton, maybe a better fit?
  25. But Fabrizio said that it was all still open. Balague can do one, he is in it for himself.
