You were busy, you were closing down like machines and we were mostly watching, was poor from us. I noticed the lack of movement from us, its been getting worse and worse, frustrating.

Ok, then let me get this in early. How have we spent so much? If it is as mentioned the losses in 20/21 was 33m? in 21/22 102m? But we are about to smash the record for the biggest breach, then we lost in 22/23 too I assume? Where did it all go? Wages? Must assume our running costs are just too high.

Just because we paid 95m for them, this does not mean they are worth that. Do not disagree that Enzo has a very narrow tactical requirement and this limits our substitution opportunities severely. However, after 75% of a season where it has been massively successful, for better or for worse, it was always unlikely he would rip up the script and go in a whole new direction. Maybe it’s his inexperience, maybe (some of) the players are gutless.

Indeed, it’s why I said they may, there is a mentality problem, clearly. Enzo’s job in part if to fix it, but he cannot do it alone, he isn’t Derren Brown, they players have to do their share too.

Love your posts @Matt but it seems too me it’s both sides, as people are far more ridiculed for hoping we see a turn around for the current malaise, for hoping Enzo changes his spots, for pointing out reasons outside our control why we might be failing, instead just labelling those hope for such things of being brainless happy clappers, blue tinted, and pointing out this squad is not the best in the league is constantly ignored dismissed. Long ball. Long balls in hope, no thanks and I see nobody advocating for them nor railing against them, but fast forward longer balls down the wings, penetrating through balls, yes please. Reckon everyone wants that and we have seen it this season - where has it all gone? Do we really believe Enzo’s has told us not too? I for one do not, but that’s just a personal opinion based only on eye tests, evident in our hesitancy and fear.

It gets right on my tits. People moan about Hamza, Praet, Faes, etc, but then claim we have the bestest team ever seen in the championship. We have arguably one of the best teams when fit/in form, but our subs are middling at best. Momentum would cover those deficiencies, but we struggling to regain it and that is in part on Enzo. These are professionals, so show some pride (Shout out to Hamza here) so it should not be reliant on just ego stroking from the manager.

Would Mr Magic Manager takes stop us missing easy chances? Seriously, they may. I am of the opinion that if we do not manage to limp our way to promotion, we burn it all down and do a root and branch renewal.
