Isn't this neo-liberalism? A wilfully unregulated version of capitalism? As neo-liberalism abhors state ownership, capitalism makes no such preference.

That is a wild take. In the last week it is confirmed that POTUS has wilfully taken from his own people, and had zero interest in being pro-active in returning the seized funds. Seeking to blame the system feels rather disingenuous. If anything, this week has demonstrated that the guardrails are not toothless when the chips are down, slow yes, but effective.

Totally agree , and think the comparative nature of both halves is definitely worth calling out, as its such an obvious improvement. In such a short space of time it is really quite impressive considering how long we have been operating at such a low intensity.
