  1. Agree, this fragility seem quite pervasive across this squad.
  2. No. You said that its known the major issue is the ownership, and that is pretty much agreed across the board... .....might as well stop typing, @Spanner73 just said what I meant
  3. Then why isn`t all this in the KP out thread? I get its because they cannot be sacked, but you must confess this cycle seems endless until they do leave or God forbid they actually pivot on this style/manager entrenched behaviour.
  4. Yes, I think it is a "new" thing in amongst some which is peculiar, not sure if its a particular demographic or not, perhaps the "tourist" demographic. Even then, does it matter? Weird yes, but it has the same effect as booing, i.e.; bugger all, its just an expression of the individual.
  5. This is just a different kind of assumption. The "I didn`t" therefore mentality. We are not all the same, when did such intolerance become normalized?
  6. He failed at Arsenal though! And I am not disputing we need a change of ownership, we do but to suggest somebody who massively benefited from this same ownership would slander them is just bonkers. You could easily argue that Jamie would not have had the career he has had without them.
  7. Hindsight judgements are not in any way valuable you know. It’s the easiest thing in the world to be right after the fact.
  8. Pretty sure Emery and the Villa board had a little something to do with it.
  9. Jamie and the players were clearly part of those good times, along with Vichai and Top, and as much as we love to separate them in our mind as fans, Vichi and Top, it’s a bit silly really, as slamming Top will inherently diminish the family, and I doubt anyone from those times wishes to do this.
  10. Of course he does, it’s positively weird to think he wouldn’t.
  11. This is a very small industry so pissing in any pool causes ripples. So no, I do not believe he ever will.
  12. Fan favourite sure, but he also isn’t about to burn those bridges. This is a now issue, nothing to do with Jamie, we need to live through this, not him.
  13. I was not playing down Ben ability, quite the opposite, should have made it clearer “if Marti regards him as fourth choice” but my days of trusting the managers judgement are probably about over. I have and have never had an issue with Ben, I have an issue with having too much confidence or trust in the current incumbent.
  14. At this point we might as well try anything and that includes playing Ben (and shifting Faes up top as have seen mentioned…)
  15. It’s not that, that’s ridiculous. It’s something else, perhaps as blunt as being 4th choice and therefore he ain’t on the bench. (Please start thread on why Ben Nelson should not be fourth choice CB. )
  16. We don’t disagree on much. He is only the problem if that style of play if the problem (it is) and you stop playing a player to play that style (we won’t). Just cannot see anyone have the minerals to not play out from the back as per Top’s recipe for success.
  17. The longer the undesirables are here, the lower their value gets, the more chance of them getting sold,.
  18. I don't get why anyone would presume to know anyone else experience growing up with the club. Some may see it as an automatic part of the matchday experience. Like an American clapping when the plane lands. Imagine it is more an older generational thing.
  19. Never get this attitude. It’s how some people are used to supporting their club, it’s habitual I imagine. Perhaps it’s even generationally ingrained.
  20. A pre-Potter Potter then….
  21. That’s would invoke the Purge I imagine….
  22. Think Russell would be some sort of end game boss, after which something significant would happen.
  23. Lack of numbers would kill it as mentioned elsewhere, but, a smaller number could do the opposite and make it count maybe? A sit it, refuse to leave, would need to do it at home though and is a massive pain in the ass for the few.
  24. Dear Lord, but I fear you are correct. Passing for passings sake is going to the next level baby!
  25. You protest by denying them your money - there is no better protest. Sure, rock up outside the stadium with a banner, but let it say you will pay nothing to them.
