I don’t think you can go and change the manager and expect everything to be fine. Ruud was absolutely dreadful but those above him and majority of the players are also to blame. I still think there’s an arrogance at the club when there really shouldn’t be one.

I just think it looks like it’s far too straightforward for it to happen. I hope I’m wrong. Because I can see the alternative being Dyche and I don’t want him.

In Bundesliga 1 all the sides have got new managers in. I’m sure I saw somewhere Rohl wanted to manage in the Bundesliga.

That’s not saying a great deal. I hope we get Rohl but I don’t think it’ll happen.

I know we won’t but please look abroad. Just my opinion but I don’t think we’ll get Rohl. There are plenty of decent readily available managers abroad out there.

Those questioning Rohls credentials should look at O’Neil, Pearson, Enzo and Little who hadn’t done a great deal before joining us but their reputation was enhanced after being with us.

Anyone thinking Ruud would be better than Dyche I really can’t understand the logic. I don’t want Dyche but rather have him over a guy who oversaw 17 defeats out of 19 and 9 consecutive home games without scoring. Neither should be in consideration for next season but I’d definitely have Dyche over Ruud.

I agree. The issue we have is where we are now and we’re not gonna get someone whose stock is high. The manager’s I’ve mentioned have done ok and at times with some success. We’re not gonna get someone who a couple of seasons ago won the cl or Europa league because of where we are now. Absolutely no reason why those mentioned can’t do well here. Look at Le Bris at Sunderland last season, Nuno and Bielsa before him and Enzo with us. None had any championship experience.

We should start to. No doubt Dyche will be on a decent contract if he comes here. There are better options abroad that we could get for less than paying out for Dyche.

It won’t happen but look abroad. Jess Thorup is who I’d like us to get. Readily available and has a history of developing young players. As well as these also being readily available. I don’t think Dyche is the worse appointment but I think we could do a lot better even in the financial situation we’re in.
