Really doesn’t take much to out think Cooper. There’s definitely a pattern with us not adapting to the opposition making changes at half time like Forest and the Bournemouth game.
-
3-1 down and still playing 2 dcm and 1 forward. Get this negative tactically clueless clown gone asap. At least put Edourd alongside Vardy for 20 mins.
-
Has to start with Fatuwo, Mavidi, Bounatte and Vardy against Forest. My worry is he’ll start Ayew now against them after today.
-
Still want him gone. Tactically clueless and getting results despite him not because of him.
-
As already stated Villa got Emery in with them 3 points off the drop zone. So it’s doable to get a decent manager. Don’t leave it too late. Go get Garcia, Schmidt, Kovac or Conceicao. Anyone of them would be an improvement on this prat.
-
Completely agree. Anyone of them apart from Potter.
-
Why not? Nuno went wolves in the championship. Bielsa went Leeds in the championship. Benitez went Newcastle in a relegation scrap. Why do we have to put ourselves in a bubble that we’re in a relegation scrap? The longer Cooper is here we will be. There are a lot of poor sides in this league. Imo we could finish between 15th and 12th. With Cooper we won’t. If Palace and West Ham can get a Europa league winning managers I can’t see why we can’t at least look at these managers who are readily available.
-
Here we go again….. Niko Kovac Rudi Garcia Roger Schmidt Sergio Conceicao Edin Terzic All readily available.
-
I’d forgotten about that. 😂 He did however end up at Chelsea the following season and had them struggling below mid table when he was sacked. Yes he’s better than Cooper but not by a lot. I’d rather we looked abroad. Imo I think he’s overrated.
-
Is he a million times better? Don’t get me wrong he is better but not by a lot imo. Swansea fans preferred Cooper. Potter got Brighton between 15th and 17th in the pl for a few seasons. Brighton improved both position and how they played when De Zerbi took over. Brighton fans didn’t want Potter back when De Zerbi left. While Forest fans would have Cooper back. I just don’t think there’s that much between the two.
-
Potter is extremely overrated. Much better options abroad.
-
I wish I had your confidence. We should be looking at least 7 points out of these 3 games coming up. Unfortunately I can see us messing up and ending up with 2 draws and a defeat.
-
Of course staying up is the most important thing but imo anywhere between 12th and 15th is achievable. With Cooper I don’t see us stopping up. There are a lot of poor sides in this league. Someone else in charge I think we would stop up.
-
Not yet. Imagine the reaction on here if Cooper goes in the next few days and Ole is still available……
-
I want Cooper out and this is no defence of him but I really have no interest in what the xg is for us in games. It’s a very spursy stat. I’ll watch our games and judge it on how I see it not what our xg is or the opposition we are playing. We we’re very lucky to beat Bournemouth. Second half they could of been 4 or 5 - 1 up. I don’t need xg to tell me if we’re playing well or shit.
-
I see a similar thing happening when we got rid of Rodgers. We’d just had an international break to get him gone instead we went into the next game and lost at Palace. Then we got rid. Can see the same thing happening with Cooper. Imo he’ll get these 3 winnable games coming up and we’ll drop points in them. I just don’t see him going during this break. Which he should.
-
I can’t agree about Cooper building a great foundation or base. Imo we are where we are in the league despite of Cooper not because of him. His tactics are non existent, his subs are baffling and often too late. He is the most negative manager I’ve seen down here. Makes Puel look like Keegan in his prime at Newcastle. How we won Saturday with just defending a 1 nil lead against Bournemouth was shocking. It was embarrassing to watch our tactics second half. Their keeper could of stayed in the dressing room.

I thought we played well first half. Then the Cooper effect comes in at half time and the Bournemouth keeper didn’t need to come out second half. I know we’ve had negative managers before but this guy is another level. Puel was negative but at least he had some tactical insight. I can’t think of anything positive about Cooper. -
I don’t think I’ve wanted a manager out after we win. More down to poor finishing from Bournemouth second half. Shockingly negative. 1 nil up at half time and his game plan if you can call it that is to defend all second half. Great rid asap.
-
Ayew again. Fvck off Cooper.

It comes to something that a draw at home to Bournemouth will prob keep him in a job for a few more weeks. God help us. Honestly don’t see us winning 5 games with him in charge if he stays till the end of the season.

Took Bournemouth 10 games to get their first win last season. They finished 12th. No reason why we can’t do the same. Obviously with someone else in charge. -
I think and hope we’ll be forced to look abroad because I can’t see Corberan, Moyes or Potter coming. Much better options abroad.
-
Although Fulham have done well so far I really didn’t think anything of them when we played them. They went 2-1 up and seem to settle for that. If we’d of showed some sort of attacking threat second half I think we’d of got at least a draw out of it. Instead we didn’t even have a shot on target second half. Pathetic.
