I just think a young player like Cannon should of been given the opportunity instead of signing a 33 year old who palace wanted rid of. Really don’t get this nonsense of signing players with pl experience. If that’s the case we’d of never signed Mahrez or Kante.

Agree completely. The difference with Barnes and KDH in the championship on loan was you could see the improvement when they came back. Thomas could spend another 5 years+ in the championship and still imo wouldn’t look any better.
