She came from social services after spending 2 years their. You think teachers have it bad. Social workers have so much to deal with. The hours are longer than teachers. Most usually at hospitals waiting for doctors to complete assessments on children. She left after we had our first child. She loves teaching hence the reason to not just quit.

She's not at breaking point however there is not enough staff to support the schools adequately. Which is huge concern.

Teachers don't leave at 3pm kids do Teachers are in effect babysitters and parents to other children. Being assaulted at work and no method of retaliation. Speaking to parents about little Johnny who wouldn't hurt a fly gets rewarded by said parents. In addition they act a social worker, Admin, teacher, driver and other duties. The other half regularly works nightly until 9/10pm unpaid. No money from the academy to purchase supplies. System is broken and at breaking point.
