  1. You know what, I think he would do a job.
  2. Pablo Solari, Marcos Leonardo.
  3. To be fair, the FFP stuff might actually help us long term…. Might sound mad, but we’ve no choice but to operate on a more sustainable way, and be clever in the market. To be fair, like I said the other day, I think we did pretty well this pre season, we’ve made some good signings with sale on value! So more of the same would be great. There are players out there that we can get good deals for, we just need to make sure we’re sensible contracts….
  4. Thing is, you don’t need to spend big. I think we’ve done reasonably well this season, yes EFL standards we’ve over spent, but the prices we’ve paid for most of the players I wouldn’t say is outrageous. Hermansen was a bargain I’d say. Mavididi too I think is good value for money. Winks again, bargain. We need to shop clever, it’s likely to be a gamble because you’re taking a risk on prospects, but we’ve done it before and generated some good money off it.
  5. Won’t there be somewhat of a reset for us in this consecutive three years rule?
  6. Honestly @Chelmofox I’ve found this season the most stressful ever. I apologise to all.
  7. Can finally come of the blood thinners!
  8. Ipswich to be fair, they deserve it.
  9. Thank **** for that. Glad to see the back of this league, it’s like a night on Belgian beers, turns the best of us into monsters.
  10. Da da da da hooops dadadadaaaaa
  11. Friday absolutely. Turns the heat off and the sexy football roadshow can get into full swing baby.
  12. Everything you’ve said is bang on, however. Preston’s season is over, whereas this is still a dangerous place to be, and we can’t be complacent, I expect us to ride the wave of momentum and get the job done. There’s was a sense of necessity about the performance last night, we surrendered possession and went a bit more old school. Last night was exactly how I want us to play, much quicker in the transition, and lo and behold we were utterly devastating. Anyway………. I digress….
  13. Same. I think both Everton and Forest have further deductions on the way, especially Forest. The bottom 8 clubs on the premier league are shit. So provided we do things properly, we should be good for a mid table finish. But like you say, provided we get there…
  14. Chapped lips and big foam hands to clap.
  15. HELL YES! Whilst windmilling and brushing my teeth, caused a right old mess.
  16. We were superb. Absolutely destroyed them. I’m getting carried away, already printing the PL patches off and gluing them to my shirt.
  17. FFS….. straight back to that shoddy defensive paring.
  18. Got a feeling Mavididi is going to get it on tonight.
  19. Can he stay fit for more than ten minutes? Being serious. He’s been scandalous this season. He should a hands down be one of the best players on this league whether these injuries have been legitimate or not I don’t know, but the lads used a very decent player when he wants to be.
  20. It could do, it is a possibility… but you would like to think that with three to go, we can muster enough energy and will power to grind out the results we need. Get a result tonight and the rest becomes a bit easier!
  21. There’s nothing difficult to understand, I'm merely challenging your opinion. You claimed we were poor, but we won, it doesn’t matter how we played, Leeds got away with it last night yet they’re in the top two, and according to sky, they’ve won the league….. we’re top with a game in hand. Even if we lose tonight, win both of Preston and Blackburn we are up. To reiterate, the performances mean Jack, Leeds weren’t brilliant last night, they just didn’t lay down….. we just need to do the same.
  22. Completely disagree. At this stage of the season it’s not about performances it’s about results. You say that about us V WBA, but if it wasn’t for two bits of awful defending and VAR, Leeds would have lost that game last night 3-1…. So the argument isn’t valid. It’s likely to be painful as we’re scrabbling around for the points, but so too are Southampton, they will come to attack and will leave opportunities for us to exploit. Just get behind the team, don’t worry about what other teams are doing, we’re in a great position win tonight and it’s all but wrapped up. Like I said, last night is a much worse result for Ipswich that us, because it puts Leeds in the driving seat for finishing in the top two over them, likewise our win puts us in the driving seat to finish in the top two. If we are up for it, the lads will be…. We’ve done it before, we need to do our bit and get behind them now. Three games to go, collectively we can do this.
  23. Bigger blow for Ipswich than it is for us. Forget who’s below us, we focus on us.
