Mate, there’s barely anything that’s morally right anymore. Countries forged by tyrants, cities built by slaves, economies boosted by criminal money, and national security by corrupt arms dealings funding other nations wage of terror. You can try and live consciously and try to avoid supporting such causes, but you’ll probably struggle…… as I’ve said, nothing is clean anymore.

I’m glad Forest have stayed up. They’re chaotic, there’s no direction at that club, and as many have said they’ve been incredibly lucky to have been in two pathetic relegation battles that were over before they started, plus it gives us someone to better, and I fancy our chances against them in all fairness. There’s no long term plan in their owners thinking, and I can see everything unraveling for them next season. The bottom half of the premier league honks, which is why I’m hopeful if we get things right on the summer and recruit properly we will be decent, what we do have (and I’m aware that I said I thought we didn’t have it) but….. it’s clear that we’ve got a good bond within the squad. What we don’t want is the hierarchy to disrupt that, which is my concern…. Enzo has already criticised the communication, the club must learn from the mistakes over the last two years, I think a host of teams are set to struggle next year, but we’re normally better when we are up against it, and we will be next season which is why I think we will do well. I think Ipswich, Forest, Wolves, Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth, the play off winners and ourselves will be battling it out to stay in the PL, but I do fancy us to eventually be fairly comfortable come the end of the season.

Norwich will go up I think.

Why can’t we do a dodgy deal to sell Seagrave to ourselves like Chelsea have done? -
The NFL currently play league games here, and that’s set to increase over the coming years. NFL owners are now starting to take an interest in English football, and some are investing. We all say it won’t happen, but it will, it will only be a matter of time until Spurs start playing a couple of league games in the states.

Very much a rotation option for them. He needs a new challenge, and one that will get something out of him. Villa could be a good destination for him, but he’d have to accept that he will be a squad player.

Ben Johnson is a great shout!

You can’t play Injured mate 😂 one of those who will make a good pub quiz question on about ten years when everyone’s forgotten about him.

100% Forest, their owner is already having the statue built.

More than likely. The delay in the kit release would indicate there is a new sponsor in the pipe line.

This is the sauce I like!

What’s also important to recognise is the premier leagues inability to make a decision from the off….. they’ve pussyfooted around and it’s made them look incompetent. The fact we’ve got legal backing in now will aid us, because those who decide how to administer the points can’t just suddenly get it right…… they’ve started throwing their weight around without properly understanding their own legislation, which will comeback to do their legs. If Forest get all of their points back, then Everton will have to surely, a breach is a breach and that’s that, they can’t go around just making things up as they go along? Which is essentially what they’re doing. Dishing out points, taking them back, dishing out some more and then taking more back….. it’s chaotic…..

This is how I think it will play out.

You tend to find teams who do lose a “key figure” try to replace them, anyway, even if they don’t need them. But I do feel like they will struggle next season. Perhaps not go down but they will struggle.
-
Brentford will be in trouble, they’re set to lose Toney, and I can’t see who they get to replace his goals. Everton won’t be able to spend much, unless they sell big, and their biggest assets are in defence, so I can see them having a really difficult season. Forest likewise, they will be hamstrung too and will likely have to sell to buy. Wolves I think will be down there too, and I wonder if Fulham are due their struggle, every other season they tend to stack it. Bournemouth are another team I can see struggling too, they seem to fade away after a few seasons themselves. There’s normally a surprise struggler too, and Brighton depending on what happens with their manager and playing staff could have a poor season themselves. Then that leaves the three newbies. Ipswich will likely catch everyone by surprise initially, but then potentially fade as they won’t be able to sustain it at this level. Us, depends what we do in the summer. A few shrewd signings should see us right. I don’t think the deduction of any will be massive, and I think Enzo’s style will be better suited to the premier league. I’m optimistic, I think we will have a steady season. Im not convinced any of the teams on the playoffs will do any better either.

If he would accept a reduced deal maybe, I just don’t think he’s good enough for the premier league. There’s both cheaper and arguably better options out there. I am genuinely enjoying the league win, particularly because I was so afraid we were going to toss it away, but I’m now anxious for the summer 🙈 I’m sure we won’t make the same mistakes again……….. because to be fair I think last pre seasons business was more like it. But I’m of the opinion that most of those out of contract should be given a fond farewell, and we look to rebuild without them, with the exception of Vardy, he stays because 15 goals to over take Owen is definitely achievable.

Unfortunately as much as I’ve enjoyed the last few days, I’m fearful that Top will get carried away in the euphoria and allow Rudkin to start “rewarding” players out of contract with ridiculous new deals which will further deepen our FFP problems. It’s a genuine fear, and the club are absolutely there to be criticised. We shouldn’t be in this position, and it’s their fault that we are, careless management of the club has seen us collapse from a healthy position to one of uncertainty. It’s all well and good criticising those fans who are still dubious about our situation, but I care about the long term future of this club. Our promotion was a necessity, not winning the league would have been a blunder considering the value of this squad in comparison to Ipswich. I’m glad we’ve won the league of course I am, and I’m happy that is as fans have something to celebrate, an 8th EFL title now makes us the most decorated club at this level, which is something to be proud of. But, there’s still and elephant in the room, and I just hope with every fibre that Top et al down get weak knees because of this season, and start giving the likes of Vesty new deals, when we’ve got a massive opportunity to trim the wage bill and get our ducks in order. Im desperate for this to be a new beginning, not a false dawn.

I think it’s a given Luton are going down. But I would take Barkley, for a season at least. He’d do better in this squad I think.
-
I don’t care. I wrote a letter to Rudkin when he was at santos and he clearly didn’t pay any attention. So this is his problem now…..
