  1. It doesn’t often happen @Ric Flair But what does happen every year, is one of the long standing top two falls away. It’s becoming evident that, that is us. Leeds and Ipswich both have more grit than us, and in the last few weeks Southampton are showing they might as well. We’ve not shown it at any point this season, because we were in total control for half of it, now the pressure is on, we’re falling apart. People kept saying there’s no evidence of us throwing it, but then again there’s no evidence of us turning this around either. Either way, we’re in a perilous position so Enzo has some thinking to do over the next few days. We have a chance to potentially get back on track on Tuesday, but equally we could put ourselves even further in the pits.
  2. Possibly. Two in 13 for them. So they’re in rotten form. It’s a huge, huge game. Bristol strangely enough I think will get a result against Ipswich, so we need to win….. but above all we need a good performance, would be nice to blow someone away. But I’d take a scrappy 0-1 all day long. We can’t give them an inch. We’ve got to go there and get into them early doors so they crumble.
  3. It’s a perfect game for Sunderland though isn’t it? They’re in disarray on and off the pitch, so what do you need in times like that? Plucky old Leicester city to turn up to roll over and gift you three precious points.
  4. You’re not lucky in the slightest. You don’t accept defeat and keep going and ultimately that’s why you’re not fading away. You’ll finish in the top two I think, what’s up for debate is who will join you and where is the title going. I can confidently say we’re ****ed now, it’s just a repeat of the pattern we’ve seen over the last 4 years, the body language from the players and the inflexibility of our inexperienced manager is going to kill us. Ipswich have annoyed me, I’m not going to lie, but that’s because you’re good, like I said you don’t give up, you pile on pressure right until the end and even when you’re behind there’s a strong chance you’ll get at least a point. Put it this way, you wouldn’t have lost yesterdays game, we’re showing all the wrong traits to be successful now, you are showing all the right ones. Enjoy it, I’m certain you’ll be a premier league team next season.
  5. Pep is definitely flexible. But he’s got the players to be flexible.
  6. Mads Justin Coady Souttar Doyle Winks Albrighton Yunus KDH Fatawu Vardy
  7. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  8. The biggest issue that’s emerging is that Enzo is starting to become more like Brendan when it comes to the league. Ive tried to calm down, but I can’t. It’s funny, last week we were saying he’s completely different to Brendan…. Well he is in terms of his negative attitude and ego, but he is similar when it comes to his philosophy and stubbornness. We’re going to fail, because he won’t change anything. When you go 0-2 down to a team battling for relegation, to HAVE to go full on attack mode and just put them under immense pressure, eventually, they will crack… instead we’re just passing it around trying to create chances with intricate play, and get nowhere. Sometimes you need to be a bit old school and just get the likes of Albrighton on to just keep putting balls in behind and into the penalty area. Eventually teams like QPR will collapse as they’re defensively frail as it is. They never looked in danger of losing their lead, no one ever does when we go behind now, we just keep on plugging away playing the same way, and are actually quite easy to beat. After the game I walked back with a bunch of QPR fans, and they all said they had no idea how they won, and they said why on earth did we not put more pressure on them defensively, as in their words they always concede soft goals. The problem with this is, if we were slightly more direct, I’m sure we would blow more teams away, but we’re not. There’s no leaders in the team, why on earth we aren’t leaning on the experience of Coady, Albrighton and even Souttar at this level is just plain ridiculous. Next week is huge, I want to see Hamza out of the squad all together, I want to see Coady, Doyle and Albrighton all back into start, but will he? Doubt it.
  9. I think we do have a weak mentality. We can put whatever slant we want on yesterday’s performance, but no one should be losing to QPR in our position…….. It looked from where I was that they wanted it more, and dug in. We just never ever looked like we had the belief to win the game, and QPR are dreadful. The other bizarre thing, was that QPR for some reason always looked like they were going to score, dispute not being threatening. Hamza just didn’t deal with Chair, and that gave them a platform to build on. We didn’t have any answers for it. My biggest concern was as I said, after the game the lads just collapsed to the floor, as if they had just lost a cup final, collapsed to the floor like they did after the Everton game last season. The body language of the players looked worrying, that’s why I’m so concerned, I rather have seen them rallying around one another, but they just sunk into a hole. That’s why I’m now so concerned….. next game is monstrous, I thought this was must win, so god knows what that one is. Win, and we maintain some control of our fate, lose and I think it has the potential to quickly go into out of our hands territory.
  10. Amen, great post.
  11. I’ll support the team, of course I will. But I like many are terrified at the prospect of failing to get promoted, and the potential ramifications of that. And I may as well say it, in my opinion it won’t happen, we’re not going up automatically so we’re going to have to rely on the play offs which we won’t cope with. Why do I think this? Because what will change? Nothing, Enzo has his Philosophy and won’t change anything. Hamza will continue to play despite the fact he shouldn’t even be at the club anymore, Coady will continue to sit on the bench and we miss his leadership and promotion experience. And we will continue to try and pass our way to promotion, whilst those around us are scrapping for either safety or promotion themselves. The fact some fans on here are clinging to fact “we’re playing teams in 13-14th with nothing to play for”. I can tell you every team we play regardless their position will want to contribute to our collapse. So I will support the team, but equally I’m terrified of the outcome.
  12. What’s become abundantly clear, is Top lacks the ruthlessness required to be an owner of a football club and a business. And I don’t blame him, losing his father in the manner that he did will change people for ever. It’s fair to say things haven’t been the same since that day. But what I will say, is that he needs to surround himself with better footballing people, because they’re all too comfortable, and have a job regardless of what we do on the pitch. But, failure to get promoted could spell out a potential disaster, so there’s very concerning times ahead, and I don’t think Top would be the right person to navigate through that, but then again in the same breath no sale of a football club off the back of adversity is a good one. It’s fair to say, the next two months could result in two very different futures.
  13. We can stand by them, but the reality of the situation is we’ve an inexperienced manager, a team that seemingly have lost all self belief and losing games they really have to win. There’s an alarming lack of ideas coming from the team at the moment from top to the bottom. It’s obviously not over, but we’ve been here before, the signs aren’t good, and I don’t have any faith in us at all, personally I think we’ve already blown it, and it’s just in the process of unfolding.
  14. I admire your confidence I really do. Today smacked of last season….
  15. It’s quite clear to me that the pressure has got to them. It’s all well and good saying “we will be fine” and “you have days like this it’s football” but having been so strong all season, there’s no reason for us to be falling away like this. Key players are getting injured, other key players aren’t performing. The result bothered me, but, what really bothered me was the post match reaction… the players slumped to their knees…. There was a concerning look of dejection on their faces, I think this team has cracked, three really dreadful defeats in a row has puncture a hole in our sails. I’ve got no confidence at all in us now, I don’t think we will get anything from Sunderland, Hull or Southampton and by then we’re properly up a creek. Any confidence at the moment is blind in my opinion.
  16. Everyone said we wouldn’t lose today. And we have…… I’ve lost any faith that this team will deliver after today, they looked like a team who have lost all of their belief at the final whistle.
  17. He’s shit. He’s always been shit, he offers **** all apart form the occasional hard tackle. And he shouldn’t be in the team from a moral standpoint, let alone be the captain.
  18. Because we’re as mentally strong as piss wet tissue paper…..
  19. Don’t care who plays, they’ll ****ing lose so **** them.
  20. He’s ****ing shit and has no place in this team. Enzo’s faith in him is concerning.
  21. We’re not getting any points at all from our next three games. So we will be third by the time we hit April. The Leeds Southampton game could well be pivotal because I’ve got a feeling Leeds will have won the league by then, and us Southampton and Ipswich will fighting out for second place. Makes me feel sick. We’re the **** up kings.
  22. Problem I have is we look beaten and out of ideas already. Losing to QPR at home is deeply concerning, and we didn’t even look like we had any ideas as to what to do…. Im also a little critical of Enzo, starting Nelson in what was such a big game, we need leadership, why is Coady not on the pitch, and why is Hamza, who is ****ing dreadful, playing as a captain? I don’t get it. These last 11 games are all about mentality, grit and determination. Today, QPR looked like they wanted it more than we did, and that’s unforgivable if you’re fighting for promotion. Ipswich and Southampton have more fight than us, and Leeds bar todays result are in impervious form. It all spells out for one thing, a slide into the play offs, where we will be out battles. Enzo is inexperienced as a manager, and this is what worries me, because doing what we’re doing now could see us struggle to our points on the board until Bristol…… There needs to be a massive conversation had this week, they need to **** off any thoughts of the FA cup and focus solely on sorting this league form out.
  23. I think it’s gone beyond that now, where is our next win coming from? This team looked beaten at the end of the game, sunk to their knees. We’ve lost key players at the wrong time, and those we have available are too inconsistent. We’ve got a weak mentality and an inexperienced manager. We’ve seen this happen before, top two for me now is out of the question, play offs will be the best we can hope for I think. The signs just aren’t good.
  24. Erm, absolutely I would not settle for the playoffs. This is yet another epic implosion and there’s no way you can put a positive spin on it.
  25. Absolute nailed on defeat. 3-0 game over.
