See, Cooper is excellent with youth…. So, it’s one thing to just dismiss him, but he’s proven he’s good at bringing youth players through, which is something we may need.

There were issues brewing behind the scenes, but our relegation firmly rests at the hands of Brendan, he wasn’t interested in the project anymore and wanted out, he could have guided that team to safety if he could be arsed, but he he wasn’t arsed and we just ended up with a Mexican stand off of him asking to be sacked, and us not wanting to sack him. I suppose we deserved to go down, but it was completely avoidable. We would have just ended up in a similar situation to Everton and maybe would have had to scramble around in the bottom 8 for a while…. So I don’t think Brentford or Bournemouth were better than us, or Forest, like I said our relegation on my opinion was self inflicted. And as for going forward, we should be able to do deals provided they’re sensible. It’s clear the club can do deals, we’re in a new financial period so we can make signings but need to make sure we don’t do stupid signings like we have been doing, and handing out ridiculous contracts. The points deduction no matter what the media say, will be a max of 8 points. That isn’t insurmountable, with the right managerial appointment, sensible transfers, and the right attitude we can over come the odds. But this has also got to come from the fans too, we’ve been written off many times over the last decade so you’d think we would know by now not to. If there’s anyone capable of the ridiculous, it’s us.

Plus we have a new manager incoming who will likely use him properly.

The standard of the bottom 8 is pretty dreadful, it has been for years, I still maintain we’re better than Forest, Ipswich, Southampton, Brentford and Bournemouth now….. in fact, I think us (depending on how the points come, when they come, and how we react to them) Ipswich and Southampton stand a chance of staying up together. Because I think Bournemouth, Brentford, Forest and even Fulham could all potentially be that bad….. I’ve got a feeling Brighton will struggle this year too, as I imagine they’re about to be savaged by the top 10 clubs. Relegation is wide open for me, we’re just an easy pick because of the potential points deduction.

It’s the scare mongering they’re currently doing… talk of 15 points is madness, because it can’t be done….. that’s what is pissing me off, whilst Man City will get away with the lot. They seem hell bent on crippling the teams they can get at.

It’s bollocks. Everton got docked 12 points initially, and they argued 9 is administration so they reduced it. So if they dock us 15, we should say we’ll give Everton the rest of their points…… it just doesn’t hold up. The media hate us because we pissed on the premier league by winning it, and the whole football infrastructure has been waiting for the opportunity to **** us in the arse…… this is why we’ve got legal backing, because they simply won’t get away with it.

Surely 15 points won’t stick, it’s all media scare mongering… 9 points still means administration, regardless of what the PL say. It will be 6 I think, that’s all they will get away with.

If the verdict is 15 points, it breaches the current punishment rules, so what gives? It literally can’t be 15 points otherwise it’s corrupt and made up. 8 points is the max it can be……. That’s it. This is precisely why you get legal aid, to stop yourself getting ****ed in the anus.

We’re probably the perfect project for Potter, but, I think he’s too proud to take a job on with an ounce of baggage (which is insane considering Chelsea are a heap)…. Although, I think he would do a good job to be fair. Imagine what it would do for him if he kept us up? Imagine what it would do for any manager to be fair (although I don’t think it’s a daunting task as some are making out)….. the squad we have already is decent, a few clever additions and the right managerial team in place and we should have enough about us to overcome the odds.

The crooks are no one really knows what is going on. Percy had his link with the club cut, so he doesn’t post anything these days….. the club generally keep their cards close to their chests. What we’ve got to think is, the club might be thinking that any target we have might be vulnerable to be poached due to our situation, so we’re likely to hear anything until a deal has been struck.

Exactly this. It’s not going to change anything. Plus, is it really a disaster? The way people talk, you’d expect us to walk out onto the pitch on the opening weekend in stained pants, dribbling not knowing what’s going on……….. As you, and many others have discussed, it’s legally going to be 8 points or less, and more than likely will happen in the winter. Plus if we comply with the regulatory committee, it’s could even be reduced…. So, as Everton, and the red broccoli willy pullers have already proven, you can survive it’s not the end of the world…. If Chris Wood can keep the brocolli wanders up, we can stay up.
