He scored one at our place didn’t he? Came off the bench if I remember? -

Mutu probably pushes that, it was an outrageous strike. -
Best goals we've seen at the King Power

I was thinking about this today, someone said Fatawu’s goal was the best goal they had ever seen at the KP, I mean it was good don’t get me wrong, it’s an outrageous effort but it certainly isn’t the best goal I’ve ever seen at the KP…. Abdul’s was more of a keeper error in my book, being so far off his line, kudos for spotting it, but for a professional footballer of his ability, I’d expect him to be able to put the ball into an open net from that distance. Controversially if day Joey’s was better, because his effort didn’t hit the floor, it just sailed in! My personal favourite at the KP is Lilian Nalis v Leeds….. outstanding hit to beat the then England Goalkeeper too. To score a goal like that, everything about the strike has to be perfect, and it was. -
Absolute Rolls Royce he really is. Absolutely beggars belief we’ve persisted with Faes for so long….

LCFC 3-1 Ipswich, post-match thread

How about you explain this random post first? Having a pop at a group of people that attempt to create an atmosphere at a geriatrics disco, regularly hold fundraisers for charity, and stay for the entire 90 minutes? And use their own cash to try to create iconic tifo’s? All in an attempt to better the matchday experience, and support the team?- 200 replies

LCFC 3-1 Ipswich, post-match thread

This is a point. He played a lot in the academy off the right. But he has played down the middle and has an outrageous goalscoring record. The FA cup game in my opinion needs to be used as an experiment to test some of the lads in the academies. Get Lorenz in, potentially Motsi on the bench and give Evans a go up front. We need to at least get some of them in and let some of them have game time. -

Told you all he would be good. ****ing love him. -
He and James complement one another so much. I’m made up for him to be fair, Winks has been cúnt, and Skipp has had to endure tough spells, shackled by his price tag, yet has seemingly just got on with it. Long may it continue.

I have got something to kick off about. at 3-1, why did he bring Daka on, when he’s not going to be here for a few weeks, and is dogshit….. wouldn’t not have been a good opportunity to bring Evans on…. So I am annoyed at that, and the stupid goal we conceded. Other than that, much, much improved. Lost control of the game after we let them score, but in the end regained the control. Did what we should have done V Bristol. -

Pre Match - Ipswich (H) Dec 13th 3pm
Pliskin replied to fox_favourite's topic in Leicester City Forum
The problem is we’ve shown no consistency at all. Like you’ve pointed out, everything has been in spells, Coventry, Birmingham and Swansea are the only three games k can think of that we’ve been consistent over 90 minutes. Our lack of consistency throughout the season just doesn’t provide any evidence that we will manage to win today. Ipswich have the blueprint to beat us comfortably, be aggressive, some out quickly, attack Luke Thomas and you’ll get a goal fairly quickly. -

Evans to start. -
Because John Rudkin, because 4 year deal at £75k of the kings paper a week.
-
To be fair even on crutches he would be more of a threat than Daka and Ayew….. He would probably want a hearty wage though…. Don’t know if this is a good idea or not? Would rather we be looking over seas for a young striker instead.
-
They will wait until after any PSR decisions have been made.

0-3. Really easy afternoon for Ipswich. -
This is exactly what he needed, rather than patting about in the development squads. He’s flourishing now.

Bristol City 2-2 LCFC - Post Match Thread

Agree with all of this. You’re spot on with Thomas and JV. Thomas was an abomination for their first goal, he spent the whole sequence falling over and just struggling to cope, he the. Allows the scorer to essentially have the run of the penalty area…. You’re not wrong with Fatawu either, and this is a very good point you raise, under Enzo Fatawu was disciplined, he had to be otherwise he would have been dropped. It’s clear from this point you make there’s no structure to what Martinis trying to do, no plan, and no identity clearly no clear instruction. It’s clear from the way we fall apart time and time again, there’s clearly no clear plan? Regardless of the quality in the team, with a structured plan, you should be able to hold onto a 0-2 lead….. -

I thought Aluko looked good. Miles better than Hamza at RB, and he offered a hell of a lot more than Thomas. Thomas needs dropping for Aluko who needs a run of games now. Thomas was embarrassing last night, he’s forever in the wrong position, falling over or making ****ing stupid decisions, how he is a professional football if beyond me, I reckon I’d be better at left back than him. -

What gets me, is that to some everything was okay int he first half, and we were okay and deserved a 0-2 lead. Second half it falls apart and we’re back on the “well what can Marti do? He’s got rubbish players”….. If you are capable of getting into a 0-2 lead by half time, you’re then capable of protecting it. What led to the losing of the lead was poor tactical decision making…. We are acutely aware of the squad’s inadequacies, but Marti’s lack of ability to react quick enough the dynamic changes within the game is seriously harming us. To make the decision to take James off, and then not immediately balance the team allows them back into the game. -

Funnily enough I have, and I disagree. He’s not been at his normal levels, but k put that down to the manager, because I think Martinis a poor, uninspiring coach. Hamza didn’t move into that role until Aluko came on, and at this point we had well and truly handed the momentum to Bristol, so it was more or less like throwing a floatation device to someone whose already drowned. Marti should have sure things up immediately, he didn’t, and allowed Bristol to regain full momentum and control of the game. Don’t insult me, I’m acutely aware of the shortcomings that this team has, Daka is useful in certain scenarios, but not when you’re in control of a game, of anything you play Ayew down the middle to slow the game down, and be a general nuisance disrupting the momentum of the game, which Daka can’t do. He just runs around aimlessly…. Why not play Evans, if you’re going to play Daka you may as well play Evans, if all he does is run around, miss control the ball, not holding up and not be a goal threat he’s matched Daka. He crooks of the argument is, Marti threw this game today…. Again, through poor decision making at a key point in the match. He’s a poor coach, who clearly doesn’t inspire this group of players
