Danny Simpson still avaliable? Useless going forward but was an amazing defender
-
The squad is dire. The fact Mavididi played the full match shows how useless this squad is

The fact Mavididi has seen a full 90 there proves how lacking this squad is. Dross performance. -

What is this obsession with bringing Okoli on for the last 10 minutes as well. What's the point?! -

Why does Justin never stick close to his man? So often he's just stood in space marking no one -

Mavididi just isn't a premier league player I'm afraid. But overall an ok performance so far -

Injuries and the fixture list haven't been kind. So I'm willing to give him a few more games. But if we continue to lose alarm bells are ringing and it looks like a poor appointment -
Soumare and El Khanouss our best. Argument for El Khanouss to have been the best player on the pitch today. Mavididi is not a premier league player. Replace him with someone of genuine quality and we have a chance of staying up. Go down and we lose BEK, Winks and some others and we aren't coming back up for a long time
-
It would be rather spectacular. I don't think I can ever remember him having a shot in any game. Even Ndidi shoots from distance from time to time
-
Just wish we had a viable right back rotation option. Justin has been honking all season

Think it may have happened a couple of times in the last relegation season. But I could be wrong. Just further proof this team isn't good enough for the league -
What's the point in that sub with 4 minutes to go. Games gone just give the young lads a chance
-
Don't think it's as bad on the pitch
-
Can we sub the whole team at half time?
-
The change in personnel in front of him in the second half helped him immeasurably. It felt like it took the pressure off him a lot and resulted in West Ham attacking more down the left where I would argue VK is a better one on one defender than JJ
-
At least one of those times really wasn't his fault, VK and I think it was BEK made atrocious attacking runs where even prime Xavi would have struggled to make a pass
-
Each to their own opinion but I actually didn't think Soumare did much wrong in the first half. The issue was most our play was coming out of the right hand side where as soon as Justin recieved the ball he was being pressed by sometimes two players and had no passing options because Mcateer was standing right on his full back and Ndidi wasn't showing for the pass. Equally I remember a couple of times in the first half where Soumare turned well out of space but all the attacking runs were poor resulting in him going backwards. I'll concede his pass to FB on the last counter was poor though
-
The people calling out Soumare for lack of effort/laziness today are just being funnily enough... Lazy with their criticisms. He put in an absolute shift in today. He holds the ball up well under pressure as well rarely just hoofing a ball and hoping for the best, this may result in the odd backwards pass, but I'd rather that than a kick in to nowhere where we end up getting countered on

First half we looked very wonky defensively. You saw him clearly change the defensive shape in to the 442 that he had mentioned in his press conference. This meant Justin wasn't so isolated all the time and we could press the ball with more players. Changing tactics mid game?! Cooper would never -
Great performance. The ball for Ndidis headed chance was Youri like. Hope he finds some consistency
-
The change in defensive shape in the second half helped us improve massively. You could clearly see the 442 he mentioned in action. In the first half that wasn't there and we were struggling.
