People keep sh*tting on Ayew but this is a game and a half now where he's been our most effective winger and actually doing his job in getting us up the pitch and either winning a free kick or recycling posession

All the chances are coming from Justin's side. He has to sit wider and get closer to their fullback

Feel like Justin is sitting much too narrow. Wonder whether going to a back 3 would allow him to sit further wide and actually mark the fullbacks bombing on

I do think Facundo takes Ndidis spot eventually. But I do wonder if it's currently a case of fitness. It's the most physically demanding role we've got in the team and as much as you can fault Ndidis technical skills, you can't fault his fitness and physicality.

Might be against the grain... But Mavidid coming in for Fatawu instead of Ayew is absolutely the right call. Fatawu has been poor so far this season, Ayews experience will be a big plus for a tough away game and being able to drag us up the pitch and win free kicks.

How many players have we currently got registered for the prem? Surely even if we sign this guy or Matip we can't register them anyway?

Surprised by the amount of people keeping Fatawu in. Been really poor so far this season. No one can watch the Villa game back and tell me he offered more than Ayew.

I said in the match thread, but he seemed much more assured and a bigger presence than Faes all game.

One bonus I like from him is his ability to use both feet to make a pass. Will certainly make us less predictable in the build up. Especially if paired with Vesty who has a better range of passing than Faes

Keep Ayew in and move him to the left. Replace Abdul with Mavididi

On a positive note. I thought Okoli looked good. Certainly looked more assured and more of a presence than Faes

Ayew did very well and is clearly able to use both feet. I absolutely agree that Fatawu should be the one to make way. Looks lost at this level currently. Much like he did against Chelsea last season.

Feel like I can't be mad at that performance. Just mad that we didn't go for it sooner. The first goal was school boy defending and it punished us. Thought the players gave it there all. But I don't want to see Ndidi playing that advanced midfield role ever again, so many attacks stalled because of him. I'm sorry to say though Fatawu currently does not look premier league quality. So wasteful with the ball and consistently makes bad decisions.

Solid, if uninspiring line up. I wouldn't fancy Vesty against Watkins/Bailey either we saw how Jackson destroyed himself last season against Chelsea. These are a top tier side if we go at them we get destroyed. Think people need to remember we aren't in the Championship any more and we are going to have to grind results out. I feel more comfortable with Ayew in the team because at least he can hold a ball up

Can't be mad at this really. We needed another out and out striker and we've got one. Different profile from what we already have. We had no money so this makes sense
