Going tomorrow as some friends bought us tickets and we live a 10 min walk from the stadium. Wondering when I’m allowed to ask the friends if I can leave?! -
Not only is it all celebs again, but it seems to be mostly celebs from about 3 shows - Big Brother, Real Housewives and one called the Challenge. At least last year they had people like Deontay Wilder and John Bercow to provide a bit of variety. After watching the UK one, this doesn’t even come close.

The US Traitors this season is absolutely dreadful

I’ll add to this. I’ve been fortunate enough to do a lot of work with Chris, and have also cycled on the London velodrome track with him sitting right behind me and giving me advice. He’s not only an absolute legend in terms of his sporting accomplishments, but he’s also one of the most genuine, friendly people you can meet. It’s such a shame to hear this news.

Very much enjoyed the smell task from last week!

Would be great if at least Patel could come back in but not sure who you would drop? Rehan would also be great but would that mean dropping Trevaskis, which seems highly unlikely given how he’s played the last couple of games. Perhaps something like this… Patel Budinger Hill Rahane Handscomb Cox Trevaskis Holland Mike/Rehan Scriven Wright/Walker Seems a bit harsh on Kimber but Rishi is a safer batter at the top of the innings. Also would be unfair to drop Walker but I feel like we need to put our best 11 out. Thoughts?

Seems a bit odd that despite England finishing 2nd in their group, they were pre-allocated the B1 slot and so avoid playing the A1 team (India). I’m not complaining as they are a good team to avoid but surely it would make more sense to have B1 allocated to the team who actually finished 1st! I’d certainly much rather play USA and West Indies than India and Afghanistan. -
No one’s mentioned anything about this (or at least I haven’t seen anything), which suggests I just don’t know the rules of rugby properly but for van der Merwe’s 2nd try, did he not hit the touch line flag with his body before he grounded the try? Is that not out of play? Not that it makes much difference, but I’d love a bit of clarity on the rule here.

Echo what everyone has already said but if Mollie had just thought about it, she had to vote for Harry. There was literally no other option as there’s no way Jaz would have chosen to vote again (unless Mollie thought there were still 2 more traitors and Jaz wanted the money to himself - not sure she was smart enough to consider that though). I’m fuming with what an awful decision it was.

I’m glad he’s gone but I also wish he’d stayed a little longer as I think it might be a bit boring without him. Andrew is a decent bloke and looks like he hates being a traitor. Would be nice if he took home the money over Harry.
-
So it’s looking likely that Diane is gone (unless the ending was a bit of a bluff and someone else takes the wine). If she is gone, I wonder how long it’ll be before Ross comes clean. There’s no way they’ll go the whole season without finding out they are related. I could see a scenario where he confides in someone, only for them to tell the rest of the group. Of course he’d be wise to keep quiet but something like that will definitely come out somehow. Then again, maybe Diane won’t leave just yet as part of me thinks the revelation will happen with both of them still there. Anyway, halfway through the series and I’m very much enjoying it as much as the first series. It’s a fun show to watch once the kids have gone to bed!

No, he absolutely doesn’t win but I think he’ll find a way to dictate what happens to keep him in longer. He’s good TV and for that reason, he will stay in a longer time and will probably have a few lucky escapes (like tonight, a few people mentioned him beforehand and he was called out by Antony but didn’t receive a single vote). The other two traitors are comparatively quite boring.
-
With that being said, I could see him go the furthest out of the Traitors because he’s clearly dictating everything that happens and it won’t be long before he turns on another traitor (my money is on Harry).
-
Maybe it’s because we all know he’s a traitor but I can’t see why everyone there loves Paul so much. He’s perfect as a traitor but when you analyse his behaviour, it feels like there’s something not quite right about him. Like he actually is a serial murderer (which again makes him perfect for the role).

Definitely behind Leach but there’s no way he should be behind Hartley, considering how well Rehan did last winter in Pakistan. You’d hope they would play at least two spinners though, especially given how few seamers they’ve picked. You never know though! -
Agree with you mostly on this, however I found the finale to be uninspiring and pretty boring to be honest. Definitely a fair share of luck required, and next to no skill. Also, I just don't understand the tactics used by one of the final 3 once the first person had chosen their shape. I'm not sure why they volunteered to go first as it basically gave them a 50/50 chance of getting eliminated. If they had chosen 2nd, they would have pretty much been guaranteed a spot in the final 2 (given that the other person could have either picked the red shape and got eliminated or picked the green and chosen the other individual for the final spot). Seemed a very odd tactic, which ultimately backfired.

So Chris Wright, Sussex bound, is coming into bat… maybe he’ll score the winning runs and decide to stay with us!

I don’t disagree, but I suspect that England see Moeen as more destructive based on experience. If Moeen plays, he probably goes in ahead of Curran but if Rehan plays, he goes in after Curran and possibly even after Jordan too (if Jordan plays). In the Hundred, he was due to come in quite low down in the order. -

Suspect the team might be: Jacks Buttler Duckett (maybe Malan) Bairstow Brook Livingstone Ali Curran Rashid Atkinson Wood 4 spin options plus 3 seam so they may go for Jordan instead of Jacks. I’d like to see them try out Rehan for Moeen but suspect they want Moeen’s batting in there. -
Call off the game now and let the team who finished higher in their group go through to the final 😉

Late to the party on this one but I just finished watching Severance on Apple TV and the final episode is probably one of the greatest TV episodes I’ve ever seen. Just phenomenal and a brilliant series overall. Can’t wait for the next one!

Admittedly they just made 200 but the Surrey T20 lineup is ridiculous - both in the sense that they have stupid strength in depth when it comes to bowlers but they are also essentially playing 1 specialist batter (2 if you include Jacks), 1 keeper and 9 bowlers. Why have so many bowlers when there’s no way you can bowl them all their 4 allocated overs? They have Narine opening and the Curran brothers at 3 and 4 (who I would argue are both bowling all rounders). It just seems stupid to me! -
On Apple TV. It’s really enjoyable!

Thoughts on the latest series of Ted Lasso so far? I think it’s absolutely fantastic and one of the most enjoyable things to watch on TV at the moment. The character development has been excellent and it’s very heartwarming!
