Thank God it's a loan....let's see how he does with a season playing regularly in the championship. He's only 21 and was decent the last time he was loaned out to Preston where he got goals. Then we can decide next summer as we really don't know what's going to happen to Vardy or Daka next season and if we get a new striker today we really don't know how he'll turn out. At least we'll have options!

He's injured from a foot injury from pre-season and will be out for 6 to 12 months......plus he failed a medical at Ipswich yesterday 🙄

Suffered a foot injury on Chelsea's pre-season tour in America.....he can probably recoup at Seagrave Rehab centre for a year .... Also I think missed all of last year due to the ACL he suffered playing against Villa in December 22

Didn't Maresca say that he was recovering from a back injury that's why he's not playing 🤷

Everton fans on their forum didn't want him sold and were saying that what they bought isn't any good and are p*ssed off that Dyche isn't keen to develop youth like they once did.

Harry Kane was the same at Leicester, where the thought was he'd hasn't got the pace and isn't fast and was binned off. But the guy shown that he sure got an eye for a goal.

Matt O Riley carried off after just 8 minutes with a serious ankle injury.....looks like the playing in England is way tougher to what he's used to 😏

My thinking is that Maresca is more of a coach and the players last year all enjoyed that with him and believed in him while Cooper is more of an overall manager who just doesn't do that kind of coaching. That's why the players look all disjointed in the last game.

Maybe he will be given time in today's game as it's inferior competition....he was really poor in pre-season

Leicester really did push the boat to get Knudsen as well and the set pieces did improve under....but Maresca wanted his own man in, cant recall if he got him here, but he took one at Chelsea even through they already got one there

I just get the feeling that the players are witnessing the opposite to when initially Maresca started to coach them and the instant benefit s on field, they had basically a coached who coached them. And the complete opposite with Cooper, who just seems like an overall manager without any of the personnel coaching that Maresca did, where players talked about their improvements because of his coaching

Look how well Jack Clarke did when he went to Sunderland from Spurs and with that experience he's back in the Premier League. I've said it before...not every striker has pace and is fast....that was the criticism of Harry Kane when he was at Leicester and NP benched him. He's still only 21 and I reckon a year loaned in the championship will do him good as he scored lot when loaned at Preston and we will probably need him next year in the championship

The players know they are heading back to the championship, it's a totally different atmosphere compared to the same time last year. It's been a pathetic pre-season and in the first 2 games we witnessed players arguing with each other. They know that the clubs doesn't know what's it's doing with the rubbish signings this month. Any player if a better move comes will go, the future looking grim at Leicester

Yup, I've read Cooper wants either wants to loan them out or sell a few so he can bring his own players in...... pathetic really as he may not be here in the future. I really don't think he's a coach like Maresca was...more like an overall manager and hasn't got him to coach youngsters

In the 2 games this week, we saw players arguing with each other, there's really no unity in the team and that's on the manager

So what do we do with him?...we paid 17m last year..... give him a chance he's only 21 remember

I remember when people wrote off Harry Kane when he was at Leicester and benched most of his time.....they were saying the same stuff like he's slow and one paced and look how he turned out. Not every striker needs to run around aimlessly.
