Find that Reform figure very concerning. More concerning how popular they seem with younger voters.
-
I think Sunak gets the boot and the party move further to right to hoover back up the voters/members that have moved over to Reform. Shadow cabinet made up of the far right leaners like Braverman.
-
Ed Davey and Rishi Sunak have to fight to the death on parliament square.
-
Fair, I'd assumed since it's such a strong Labour seat that they'd be informed well as an electorate on their most well known political figure.
-
Think it's pretty widely understood in North Islington that he isn't standing for Labour. I'm sorry, but you'd have to intergalactically dense not to know or realise that.
-
Roman Bednar. Thought we'd be the bollocks when we signed him.
-
It was always going to be a cross party issue once it was clear how many tories had done it. Politician's standards in public life are so unbelievably shit across the board.

Not a chance. -
Was going to rejoice in the fact we could quash the idea that “he hates the Leicester” but a couple of months under the hierarchy and I’d imagine that will be more true than ever.
-
Yeah, I tend to agree. Find it maddening the blank cheque that the majority of the fanbase allow the hierarchy on stuff like this. They get such an easy ride.
-
I think maybe a compiled document of fan testimony on the disgraceful price rise pricing out people could cut through a bit too. Hopeful I know, but possibly if they were presented it in case studies it could strengthen the criticism of it.

This is what we'd look like if all the blokes who shout "GERRIT FORRRWUD" every week coached us. -
They also have the benefit of having a somewhat charismatic, cartoonish premier who is a pretty decent orator. That is worth its weight in gold since the Trump's and Johnson's of this world have convinced the mainstream that politicians aren't supposed to be "boring."

Personally find it very troubling regarding Reform’s ascendancy. It shouldn’t be treated as a ‘win’ just because it further dissolves the Conservative’s. Hurtling quite fast towards a very right wing opposition.
-
If that was the case and Starmer was across it, would it not have been smarter to pour cold water on it there and then? A chance many people's only active involvement in the campaigns will be those debates and buzz wording stuff like the £2000 tax rise might be taken as gospel.

Listened to the post debate Rest is Politics podcast last night. Both hammered home that the format itself renders any idea of a constructive or even slightly useful debate impossible. Etchingham was cataclysmic but was at the mercy of the backward construction of the programme. The debates need to be feature length, between 2 and 3 hours. 5-10 minute allowances for answers to questions and then the possibility for debate that's mediated more openly. We learnt virtually nothing last night, as usual. That programme could potentially be the first time less politically involved voters have even heard or seen Keir Starmer or Rishi Sunak speak. A change of format could be really influential to their respective campaigns if they lobbied for a restructuring of the debates.

Did what was asked of him so fair play as far as I'm concerned. You can't blame him. Club's a basket case and he's probably at least tripled his salary over night. You'd have done it too.
-
Personally find that to be a big plus for a potential head coach.

Don't get the Cooper snideness at all. It's where we're at and it could be worse, in my opinion. Find the personal nastiness about him quite troubling too.
-
Don’t really get the jubilation around the trump verdict. His punishment is well known to be nothing more than a relative slap on the wrist and has boosted his election campaign significantly.

Dubrovnik in July with my partner. Any recommendations? Beaches, bars, general stuff to do that’s somewhat off the beaten track.
