Probably belongs in the ‘what grinds my gears’ thread but it’s come to a head watching today and yesterday’s games. But the relatively new trend of players, usually defenders and goalkeepers, celebrating every single micro event in the game. Handshakes and shouting when a defender makes a tackle or a goalkeeper makes a save, which is their job. Irks me something rotten.

Give the kid a break man. I agree that he hasn't been great and I'd get this if we were 15th and he'd played every game, but he hasn't. It just hasn't worked out (probably), luckily at a pretty small loss to us.

I understand drilling the system in and allowing time for mistakes but I do think Maresca has to explore adapting it a bit. Simply do not have the personnel for it yet.

I know that it's concerning something rather unfortunate but all this has drummed up very fond memories of our trip to Warsaw. What a terrific trip.
