He’s a knobhead but I still don’t want to see his career ruined, wouldn’t wish the injury issues he has had on Dennis Wise, and Wes is a far, far better player. Wes had potential to go on and be the best centre back in the world, in my opinion.

Played much better than in recent weeks, Bouba and Bilal excellent in particular. Need new full backs, though Hamza had a very good cameo, would be tempted to bench Justin for him next time we conceded half the number of shots we have been doing, which is encouraging

Obviously it means very little, but we are creating chances, good ones, and conceding half the chances we had been doing in a regular basis, that is pretty good progress. Baby steps.

I’m not sure about the latter, imo English teams not getting close to winning CL this year, standard in this league has been very poor for me. Arsenal and City both dropped off, Liverpool a bit better than some distinctly average teams near the top
