I’m seeing a lot of: “this allows us to rebuild” ”drain the swamp” ”good business, we have Jakub” “Great for PSR” Genuinely, in my opinion, these comments are doing nothing but defend king power, JR and Top. In reality we have sold our best keeper, if not best player, for next to nothing. People looking around at positives, in reality we all know there none really, its a poor deal and does nothing positive to push us forward. Yes, PSR is a horror show yes but our board know the rules, we should never be in a position where the only players we can sell are our best ones for less than their value. Everyone talking about draining the swamp (Player and board), unfortunately those mistakes that make it a swamp are still here and will continue to drag us down. 15-18mill is poor and anyone who defends it, is in my opinion, defending the board and therefore all of the decisions they have made along the way to get us into this mess. Overpaying and underselling is our biggest problems and deals like this see it continue. For the record, if have been happy with 25mill, so it not a lot more, but they all add up.

I’m the same, I see it’s @moore_94 and I expect something juicy or if I’m on a bus or in a tunnel I expect a white box to appear from a linked tweet that hasn’t loaded yet. This sounds like 2 years ago when we thought we should be having a cheeky Cole palmer. He went for 50 mill to Chelsea and turned out to be their best player. Like the blind optimism though.

Bilal will not be staying. He is the next player to leave and make us weaker. We need to drain the swamp, In my opinion bilal, mads and ndidi are not the swamp that needs draining. All 3 considerably weaken us. I get It has to happen but these are not positive moves in my opinion. They are born out of necessity to cover up our increasing list of mistakes. Worst part is all of our mistake (Coady aside) are still here.

I agree with you. Although just becuase we have done deals even worse than this it should not be understated. Even without blue tinted specs, this is another poor deal for us, I’m a very very long line of them. I get we need to sell and I’m not annoyed he has been sold but the price is cheap and we all know it.

Without the blue to tinted specs this is on the low side. When do we ever get the good side of the deal anymore. Always fee like we have under sold or overpaid. I give you mads, barnes, KDB, Maddison, Golding, skipp, Ayew. All prime examples just in the last couple of seasons. We give bargains not benefit from them

There are 2 types of sell in clause though. One could be on the sale and one could be in the profit of sale. Obviously the latter reducing our chance of any money at all in the scenario you mention.

Annoying release clause. Basically like loaning him. It didn’t matter how good he got. Just developing him for someone else who is not run like we are and that we used to compete with. Albeit taking all the risk. However you spin it, it’s very depressing.

Fats, mads and bilal, 2 leave, one stays.

This KDH transfer really makes me hate king power. Him turning out for Everton shows firstly how far we have fallen and secondly how badly we have been run. A player that wanted to be here and fight do us but was sacrificed to cover up our boards incompetence and miss management. What a set of twats, this makes me very sad.

I was thinking this yesterday. If people think Fatawa has had a relatively solid comeback which it looks like he has, someone might take a gamble.

If I got to chose between mads or bilal staying I would chose bilal. If we can’t shift mads, which is looking more likely bilal is 100 % leaving if he wasn’t already. We are stronger if either of them stay but one if not both will have to be sold surely.

I think we will really miss him. I know he must leave and is injury prone but we are pretty much always better with him the side even if he is not the player he was. In my opinion, he will go down as one of our greats. Not many better than peak wilf.
