Unfortunately he will stay with us I think. Can’t see him going anywhere now. Stay with us, never really play for another season. I hope I’m wrong. We are really good at gettting players down on long contracts to avoid any problems like other clubs have. Take Barnes new contract this year as an example. However it doesn’t always work and sometimes you get a player who doesnt develop so well and this maybe the case.

I would be 100% behind this if he was a genuine right winger or we were in desperate need of of a left winger in the starting XI. He is the exact sort of the player we would go for and realistically best we can hope for and I think he is actually quite good. The stats and everything for me are redundant at this stage though as they are from left wing. In terms of age, price, ability I’m completely behind this. It just the players position that’s frustrating. but we will see. I won’t write him off.

I was referring to what I think in my opinion is arrogance from Rodgers, to not replace a right winger who he has purchased. I think his arrogance can lead to stubbornness that is detrimental to the team. I understand Lookman is ok backup on the left but we all know that we need a RW. We need backup on left but the right for me the right needs addressing more in our starting XI. if You think otherwise then I’m fine with it. No need to respond with another non productive comment pal.

More chance of us signing him then if he plays on left. We don’t really deal in right wingers 😜

Average, doesn’t improve first 11 at all. Don’t know why we don’t sign a right winger. Like when we needed a left back and we sign a right back who can play left. I hope this doesn’t happen. The only thing it could be useful for us to give Barnes something to think about. Surely we don’t just sign a left winger and not a right winger?. We have done some really good work in the transfer window in recent years but I do find some odd ones recently, out of the ordinary . I don’t think this will happen. Just wishful thinking really because everyone is desperate (myself included) to get a right winger in. No concrete links, just like mudueke. Not sure he fits either.

Realistically do we all really want him? Or are we just wanting a right winger of any sorts. He looks good sometimes and has had good seasons but is he a Leicester type player? Benko, hamza, and praet are realistically the 3 that we should sell. I’m sure some younger lads will go out on loan aswell. Can’t see any movement apart from that really. We will be lucky to short them out really, I’m not sure the represent the greatest value for what we would want for them unfortunately.
