I've got my nieces wedding at Turnberry in July... It's around the Open weekend, and although it's at Birkdale the amount of Americans that turn up that week across Scotland to play golf is unbelievable. Prices are eye watering, so the Premier inn at Ayr will do me fine. 😆

It's accepted up North that this will get permission. "The Jackdaw gas field is a major undeveloped offshore project in the UK Central North Sea, located 150 miles east of Aberdeen". Still plenty of oil in the North Sea, but some of it is only viable with high barrel prices. Unfortunately, closing Grangemouth refinery means we've no where to process it 🤦‍♀️

Took your advice and booked a hotel just over the river from Trastavere. My only nervousness was that I've booked through Stayforlong because it came up £100 cheaper and some of their reviews have bookings going missing.......

Liked Evertons stadium, but a fair walk away from the city centre. Starting to get fed up with modern fans, people around me constantly shouting at the players, booing at half time. It's a friendly ffs. Ivory Coast were a good side, plenty of skillfull players with pace.

Gave SNL another go on Saturday. Some sketches were good, and after a slow start (potato rocks.....?) Jamie Dornan grew into it. The 2 newscasters are terrible.
