  1. We are playing well today, some legs in the midfield and everything Nisbet touches is hitting the back of the net atm. The big lad we have on loan from Spurs at centre half is old school. Agricultural probably describes him best 😆
  2. I'd do Ibrox, Tyncastle or Easter Road and one of the new stadiums touted for Aberdeen or Dundee. Cardiff and Swansea, or Wrexham dependant on their upwards trajectory. We are stuck with Hampden in its current guise for a long time. No cash.
  3. Good idea if it's a true uk bid and not just lots of English venues plus Hampden, Millennium and Windsor Park.
  4. If / when Celtic win the Scottish Cup then this is the last season 3rd guarantees Europe league stages = £5m revenue minimum. £5m is a big deal for the clubs, but everyone wants to reach top 6 to negate the possibility of relegation before thinking about Europe.
  5. Fulham have been trying to manage the game rather than go for a 2nd since HT. United to win it now, just hope they draw City in the next round.
  6. Great atmosphere, helps that both clubs are going well. Blimey, 2 goals in 10 mins, these games are normally dour affairs at Easter Road.
  7. I've honestly no idea what the board is thinking about after yesterday's 4 appointments to the end of the season. Its got comedy value written all over it. Rumours of a cash injection by Americans, or more likely they are buying the shares that were converted from loans to 2 of the Directors. Dyche scares me because he could do a decent job there, but does he want to move to another club with a dodgy board setup after Everton? I don't think Gerrard would take it, even he would see the gap to Celtic too big to bridge and be on a hiding to nothing. I'm not sure the Rangers job is attractive to many high profile managers. The support don't accept 2nd, there's the sectarian element that goes along with it (and is getting louder, especially at away games), and there isn't the money available to realistically challenge Celtic.
  8. https://glasgowfootballtour.com/home Something different, I heard the people that runs it on Radio Scotland and they came across really well. Definitely one for the historian buffs / nerds amongst us.
  9. Russel Martin seems the shout atm.
  10. The fall off in Kevin DB's form is pretty steep. Hes gone from the main man to a bit part player.
  11. Next round of matches look interesting, Ireland France will be an epic arm wrestle Scotland Wales should be a high scoring close match, England Italy will be really competitive.
  12. I say it every year, but Cardiff on a 6N day is brilliant.
  13. Anyone in the Cardiff area, I've a ticket for today going free.
  14. Sore one. Oh well, they've done that loads of times in the league to the rest of the SPL. Beating Bayern isn't for everyone 😉
  15. Pains me to say, but Celtic have been really good so far. Bayern look powder puff. I watched the Leverkusen game at the weekend and they were terrible then as well.
  16. And move up to 3rd. 1st goal from open play since early Dec and last away win was v Dundee in Sept 2024. Champions league assult 2025 back on 😁
  17. If Derby stay up, then Eustace is a decent enough manager to build a team challenging mid table next season and pushing play offs the one after. In the short, that's enough to get the fans onside, the next question will be how much Clowes wants to throw at the possibility of PL football.
  18. Episode 2 just as good. I'd always fancied Belgrade as a place to visit, not so sure now. The Kosovo situation now makes sense in regards what Xhaka and Shaqiri have done in the past. Not much wonder UEFA don't allow certain countries to play each other in qualifiers.
  19. Watched episode 1 tonight. That old Yugoslavia country is some mixed up place. Really good tv, episode 2 tomorrow.
  20. I went back to sportsound and listened to the pen incident and the following 2 mins of added I injury time. Comedy gold listening.
  21. 🤣🤣🤣 Liverpool and Rangers on the same day
  22. How wasteful were France, but well done England on winning a close contest. That's 5 home wins in this tournament, here's hoping it's 6 by 5pm tomorrow..... Lions watch, I was impressed by Lawrence and Freeman.
  23. Have to admit, I'm loving the constant booing from the home fans 😀
  24. Just awful. I go back to the late 70's and can't remember a Utd team as bad as this. They don't have a clue what to do.
  25. Got bored, turned over to Hibs Ayr and missed the goal.. Camt wait for the ht boos.
