Neither team have a playmaker in the midfield to control the game and find decent passes forward. Its being passed around like a hot potato. If this is the best Amurin, or whatever his name is, he won't last long.

I really tried to get into White Lotus but something about series 1 failed to keep my interest and I binned it after 4 episodes. I gave series 2 a try yesterday and watched 3 episodes. It's maybe the Italian scenery and famous actors that's making me enjoy it a lot more.

Developed a taste for the Kolsch and Altbeir last June. Altbeir just shaded it.
-
Ignat finished his fight well. I saw that Scott Forrest a few weeks ago and didn't like his attitude when he won, so he got his comeuppance last night.

Adam Azim looks special. Speed, power and can take a punch. Won't be long before he's ppv rather than free to view.

Some 2nd half from Ireland.
-
What a player Alldritt is. England France will be some game next week.
-
I'll confess..... it was a free bet from PP 😀

I might have lost £5.....

Yeah. Trust me, I've seen this movie before. In theory, Italy and a sketchy looking Ireland at Murrayfield in the first 2 games look favourable, followed by beating a 0 from 2 England side, followed by easing past a poor Wales side to setup a grand slam decider v France........easy peas. In reality, we could easily be leaving Twickenham 0 from 3 and Gregor is announced as Tigers new coach for 2025/26 😀

Got tickets for Wales v Ireland in 2 weeks as a neutral. I've got £5 on Wales to win at 22/1 tonight, they were 30/1 earlier today, and praying for 2 early French red cards 😀. In worried Italy will ruin my day tomorrow and turn my 6 nations into 5 weeks of doom and gloom. Don't care who wins in Dublin tomorrow, as long as bonus points are kept to a minimum. Have to admit, I love the 6N even though I come from a bit of the country that wouldn't know what a rugby ball was if it hit you square in the knackers 😀

I wonder if Franco has been tapped up by the SRU to see out his contract until 2026 and steps upto the Scotland job? It been talked about in Scotish rugby circles. I reckon Townsend will fancy a change by then and the timing might be right. I'm not sure what Tigers pay compared to other sides, so money might sway him. I guess it depends whether he wants the day to day role, or move to international management.

That Lake Constance looks brilliant. I didn't manage to get to Munich during the Euro's, so fancy a few days there and flights are decent back to the UK. My other option is head south from Zurich and go towards North Italy, but I've never set foot in Austria and for some reason it appeals to me atm.
-
Scotland are playing Liechtenstein in early June, so booked a flight to Zurich today and plan to stay there for a few nights and use it as a base for travelling to the game. No flight booked back yet, I'm toying with heading to Salzberg for 3 days, then Munich for 2 days and flying back from there.

And either Madrid or Bayern v Man City
-
Celtic v Bayern or Real Madrid......😁

My 11 nil isn't far away......
-
Villa Celtic. I'd settle for a narrow 11 nil win for Villa.....or if needs must a 1 nil Celtic win. Normally I'd want both old firm to get hammered in Europe, but things change slightly when up against the big bullies of the EPL. I'd also like a Brugge win as well please.

With all the unions losing 10's of millions last year, its no surprise they are going to the highest bidder. Still pretty rubbish, and I doubt it's going to bring the ticket prices down. The Welsh and Scottish public are already beginning to baulk at the prices, and they are no where near Twickenham.

Couple of key players refused to sign new contracts and heads have been turned with a view to this transfer window. 2 young centre half's were playing out of their skins and every mistake is now being punished. Keeper and CF have been injured for 2 months, both were playing really well. Still, should be no excuses, at the least 4th biggest budget in the league should be doing better but the new manager said its a 3 year project so will get time. My champions league away plans may have to switch to Scotland away days to Greece and Liechtenstein instead......😁

And the scary thing is that I can't see where the next win is coming from. Confidence is shot.

The portugeezer has a fair old job on his hands based on scrambling past a very poor Rangers side.
-
They seem to have made a decent name for themselves since re opening. Looking at the menu it seems to be branching into Blacksmiths territory.
-
I did the same last week. I was going to bin it after episode 3, far too slow for my liking, but I'm glad I stayed with it because the last 4 episodes fairly raised the tension.
-
Yeah, I think so. Fair number of the Glasgow players will have had 5 6 nations games under their belt. A lot will depend on Tuipulotu's injury and if he's still out.
